The older I get the less tolerant I am of winter, however I still can’t deny the beauty winter can bring. We got some freezing rain Sunday morning that switched to 4 inches of heavy wet snow that resulted in the snow covering the trees. Right out of a Thomas Kinkade painting.

Had a couple passengers on the boat today, I think they really enjoyed their ride along.

  • After a couple of years of being used to make the new movie "TOP GUN-2" this F-18 E  has just arrived @ our facility in Jacksonville Fl. for rework, fresh paint and being returned to the active fleet.

The view from my “office” today. It’s pretty, but I sure do wish it was a lot greener.

This 430,000 square foot building went up in smoke last night. Ten fire departments responded. The fire will continue for another couple days. Last week there was a building that was over 120 years old that burned down. Our little towns aren’t used to this kind of action.

Hasn't needed it yet, but for sure one of those things that's better to have and not need than need and not have.

With any fever, the barf bucket must be handy.  Hope he's feeling better soon.

Good to see he’s checking in on BR in between fluids and getting some rest. Get well soon!

Love the sucker stick laying on his chest.  Get well little buddy!

My oldest granddaughter's Christmas program night.  She plays the violin in the junior high orchestra. It was fantastic.  Both middle schools came together with the bands and choirs and over 3000 folks showed up. Olivia and Papa.

50+ year old sounder cleaned and running like new. Only had to rebuild the battery bus bar. (video capture, poor quality)

We're old.

I'd rather watch reruns of the tv shows I grew up on than the shows they are putting out today.

TOTALLY AGREE !

I have Charter Spectrum and there's like 988 channels of which 985 are UNWATCHABLE.

I have no idea why I pay for it - never even watch it.

It's so bad.

Rant Over.

I don't even have cable or satellite - even the antenna is unplugged. Get discs of old shows/movies from NetFlix instead.

Dropped our cable. Netflix and Bass Resource TV is all I need.

Both my daughters are violinists. Suzuki method for 11 years each. They're in their 30's now. A personal instrument that you can play through adulthood is a great thing. Most other stuff ends with high school graduation.

I could count on one hand how many channels get watched at our house too. There’s a channel callEd METV, they play old school shows. Last Sunday night there wasn’t crap on TV. I came upon this channel and the three of us watched a couple episodes of the Flintstones! My son (9) was glued to the tv, he didn’t know what to think. He said he liked it, we told him that’s what we watched growing up. I looked at the show info and saw it was from the 60’s. I never knew it was that old.
