fun ride and significant because that’s 7 month old hazel riding with her daddy in the red canoe. Her first boat ride!!! (She already has 2 life jackets to choose from)

Had a couple passengers on the boat today, I think they really enjoyed their ride along.

  • After a couple of years of being used to make the new movie "TOP GUN-2" this F-18 E  has just arrived @ our facility in Jacksonville Fl. for rework, fresh paint and being returned to the active fleet.

Last pic was 30 years old.  This one is from Sunday.  Back feeble down the escalator.  Life is a grind.

Hey, John! You know when people say, "You're only as old as you feel"?  Well, they're not talking about me. They're talking about YOU.

I hope you keep goin' .......... forever.  ?    jj

p.s. - I'm jealous.  ?

I feel pretty old in the morning!  Over the years, the ground feels the same.  Getting back up takes a little longer though.

Thanks, I would like to keep doing as long as I can, and enjoy it.  There's nothing quite like the terror of committing and riding away, feet on the bolts.

Imagine if you will, it is pre-spawn and you tie on your favorite glide bait because the bass are feeding just beyond the drop-off...

I’m not sure if this is a “please don’t go to work” or a “you’re not gone yet?” Look.

Abby needed a little work done on one of the digits.

She’s not happy about the lamp shade tho. ?

The Cone of Shame ~

Tucker's getting one this morning too.

He's got a 'bare skin' spot on a front paw that he just will not stop licking.

He's an 'outside' dog and needs the fur #frostbite

I'll post a pic after it's 'installed'.

The cone is HUGE and He will not be happy either.

Ah man that sux @A-Jay. Hope all is well with Tucker.

Abby goes tomorrow to have the digit looked at and I believe the bandage comes off, but I think the lamp shade will be part of her beauty for another few days.

On a lighter side, I won't be making any tackle purchases for a while, unless the vet will find it in his heart to part with some of the bill...?

Thank you and I hope Abby can be better soon.

At this point, and seeing how we funded so much of it,

we expect to be getting courtesy copies of the college graduation certificates

of the the local Vet's kids.

Our one cat has absolutely no use at all for the tv, unless there’s a nature program on. Currently, he’s been “carefully observing” a show about songbirds for the last 20 min or so.

Weather was a decent temp this afternoon for a little ride. Trails are currently closed around here, and there’s not much snow on them anyway, but we did put in an hour or so cruising around the lake behind our house. Not another person around, saw lots of critter tracks and the kid got some driving time in.

The fun exciting world of sitting on a chunk of ice waiting for a fish ?. I wish I could just hit the trolling motor and move.

Looks like there’s not a ton of ice, so at least it should go quick when it warms up. The lake I was on today only had about 10” on it. This time of year it usually has over 18”, so I’m hoping for a super early ice out ??

Tucker's the Rough & Tumble type, so he's been in one of these a few times.

Still, I'm pretty sure he hates us.

Yep, Tucker does not look happy at all. ?

Abby has an appointment yesterday at 9:00 am. I got out of the shower and found her bandage on the floor. “How in the world did she get out?” I’m thinking to myself.

She jumps up in my wife’s car and the vet is like...yep, she’s fine...lol...the lamp shade came off and it was like Abby was liberated! ?

Good luck Tucker!

Great to Hear ~ Good for Abby

Tucker will get over it.

He's a compulsive lick/chewer so there's no way that wheel would stay dry enough to heal without the cone.

It's a big mother though

The lake we were on there was only 5-6 inches but it’s almost 100 feet deep so it freezes later than most. Most our lakes around here have 9 plus inches of ice on them.

You guys gave my pic on here over 20 likes when I told that my wife and I have our 2nd baby on the way and I was hoping for a boy. Update today we found out it is a boy!!! Thank you all for acknowledging my last post! I have a lil fishermen and hunting boy to go with my lil fishing and outdoors daughter now!!
