It's Nov 3-7 this fall in Rockport.

Of course you need a kayak, and a fishing shack somewhere between Holiday Beach and Aransas Pass, but the celebration on Live Oak Point only slows down for the fishing.

fun ride and significant because that’s 7 month old hazel riding with her daddy in the red canoe. Her first boat ride!!! (She already has 2 life jackets to choose from)

Had a couple passengers on the boat today, I think they really enjoyed their ride along.

  • After a couple of years of being used to make the new movie "TOP GUN-2" this F-18 E  has just arrived @ our facility in Jacksonville Fl. for rework, fresh paint and being returned to the active fleet.

We just bought and released 100 bass fingerlings last spring and look how the little guys are growing!! We caught about 2 dozen during 2 sessions they put up quite a fight on micro tackle and will hit almost anything it seems.

I couldn’t think of anything more fun to do on a Saturday night than to give Hank a bath (insert sarcasm).

Hank as usual fought us the whole time, destroyed the bathroom, and soaked us both. He’s none too happy right now, but he’s clean, and doesn’t stink anymore.

That’s one thing I’m thankful for about our two mutts. They don’t ever get stinky. One’s a husky/Shepard mix and the other is a Rotti/lab mix so we have short hair and LOTS of hair, but neither of them ever get a bath and I’m fine with that.

You must know a secret! Our dogs smell consistently awful.............

they do have a fenced in area to woller in all day, probably doesn’t help. It looks like Area 51 with some strange weedy vegetation dissected by game trails and underground bunkers

Yeah, ours are mostly inside hounds. They only go out for shorter periods of time on their own so they can’t get into much “trouble”. Although we are moving to a new place in a few weeks and they’ll have a yard about ten times the size of where we’re are now, so I’m sure they can find some new stuff to get into out there.

Yup. I grew up on a 120 acre farm. Our dogs always managed to find the most rotten, terrible smelling creatures to roll in. They spent more than a few nights tied up outside rather than inside in their comfy bed.
