Your favorite fishing photo?

Featured Replies

This was my first bass of the year awhile back. Not a very impressive fish, but it is my favorite fishing picture. I never got to meet my grandpa, so when my wife looked at the picture later on and commented how I look just like him, it has become very special to me.

I don't know if I could ever pick a favorite, but these two are up there.

  • This is probably my favorite fishing picture that I have on my phone. It is from this may when I landed my personal best during a tournament.

This 6 pounder isn't my PB but I caught it about 30 seconds after my Ned-rig-hating friend declared that Ned doesn't produce big fish.  He was at BPS the next day buying Ned rig tackle.

Been quite a few 'favorites' over the years.

Tough to call one all time favorite.

Some of the more recent ones come to mind but I'm going with my son's first 'by himself fish' & one of my first trips.

Standing on a boat dock my grandson Aiden asked me to tie him a jig on, after handing him the rod he proceeds to flip the jig under the dock. I started to say that aint gonna work but before the words left my mouth his sets hook.

My dad and me sometime in the 1950's. Even with a toy fishing rod I had the bug. He's been gone 6 yrs now and I still miss him like crazy.

My son's first Bass. I had to help him hold it to get a decent pic. Good times and memories. They grow up so fast and they forget how much they liked fishing once they catch a whiff of the fumes (perfume and car fumes) We have only been out a handful of times this year as he is busy with the girlfriend and hanging with friends.

This is the most recent and one of my favorites. My favorite is a video of him catching his first bass.

My mom really never cared to fish, but there was several times that she went with my Dad and I. I think my favorite pics are the ones with my mom out on the water holding a rod, trying to get into fishing.

Hard to pick just one but this one is tied to a pretty awesome memory. @micahthorlawson and I caught a 20lb 13oz limit in just under 3 hours of a weeknight club tournament in KS. Anchored by Micah' s 6.5lb PB. A day I will not soon forget.

Not sure if this is my favorite because it is one of my first fish or because of the killer fashion statement! B)

First 5+ pounder, first saltwater fish, and first tournament catches. I wish I had a picture of the first bass I caught on artificials.
