How'd I know he was gonna put it out there with those trebles?  Those are gonna bend out in no time.

I was wondering why all the Mike Long topics were popping up on the site.  That article is absolutely crazy.  It blows my mind that he got away with that stuff for so long.

I have Fished many local tournaments against mr long 

so many times it seemed odd 

there was the time at San V 

a night tournament 

long fished for a couple hours 

weighed in early With his 3 bass limit of 24 pounds 

or it was brutal finishing second behind him at otay with just one tenth of a pound difference

Truly interesting read. Crazy to me that he knew they were on to him and continued to cheat with other people in the boat, going as far as tying fish up at tournament lakes when officials were checking the boats. Snagging in front of a new partner. The rock formations left when the lake was drawn down with the "snow bass" . Just crazy. 

 

The author of the article really had his ducks in a row. 

 

Blows my mind. Sad but not really surprising. What is surprising however is how long he was able to get away with it. 

 

You know cheating goes on in almost every form of competition. How discouraging.
