Weightless Texas rigged Senko, green pumpkin copper fleck and chartreuse tail.  Mid summer on the tidal Potomac and out going tide on a grass bed edge in 3' feet of water.  Threw up on to the bed, popped it to the edge and let it drop.  Bam!

In Canada so biggest are 5 lbs.

Been a while since I threw that one! Caught a lot of bass on that pattern. Landed even more of them when I upgraded the hooks! Eventually I had to pay the pike tax and it was no more.

it’s 365 acres, separated from Norman by the interstate, connected only by a pair of overflow culverts. it has alot of spots in there now but still has some healthy largemouth. it’s where i keep the little johnny. it’s also where 90% of my fish pics taken. i got a 4 pound spot there last summer.

That’s the exact same thing I caught my 8.4 PB on back in 97.

My PB smallie was caught on a 4" senko under a floating dive platform on Great Herring pond, Plymouth, and my best LMB chomped a black/blue chigger-craw, texas-rigged at Ponkapog pond in Canton, MA.

Those were killer back in the day. We would go out with 5 bags of those, some split shot and our rods. We would come back stinking like trash as those power baits used to reek. 

I got my PB slow rolling a spinnerbait in 15' of water.
