Brand New Member from Iowa, and New Bass fisherman

Featured Replies

Hello all,

Hope you're all having a wonderful day, I'm just a guy from middle Iowa that loved to fish as a kid (primarily for Catfish, Crappie, and the occasional walleye trip with my Grandfather), but in mid 2020 I got the itch to go fishing again and developed a love for Bass fishing and it's been rabbit hole of fun and new tackle ever since.

I went from a spinning Lews Combo at Wal Mart to now I have 5 baitcaster setups
- SLX XT, SLX 7' MH
- SLX DC, Dobyns 7'3" H
-Curado DC, Megabass Levante Diablo Spec R

-Curado 150MGL HG, Megabass Orochi XX EMTF
-Metanium, G Loomis GLX 843MBR

-Curado 150MGL HG, G Loomis GLX 844MBR (just ordered)

Like I said earlier, I'm from middle Iowa where we're not known for big Bass. But So far in the short amount of time I've fished I've managed to catch fair share of 4lb Largemouth, and my PB of 5 3/4oz (Photo Attached). Hopefully I don't annoy all of you with constant questions, but thanks for having me. Tight lines!
