I don't normally take pictures of fish, but I do so I can text them to my friends while they are at work.

Okay, okay, I'll post more fish pics in the future.

I thought ^this^ was a funny post, but alas no chuckles. It's funny because I sometimes upload so many photos that BR says I can't add anymore to a post.

The only pictures I take are of fish on bump boards, and I’m sure 99% of you have caught bigger fish than I have, so I don’t really want to post pictures to have people say, ‘Oh… 14 inches… nice…’.

It doesn't matter if people have caught bigger fish, if it's a good one to you, it's worth posting. The only time I've seen people do anything like you mentioned is when someone posts a 14 incher and call it a 4 pounder.

I used to never take fish pictures, then I started doing it to torture a friend, and because my wife asked me to send them to her, I'm back to not doing it, It's amazing how much it breaks my rhythm, and costs me fish.

I mostly take photos to prove to the GF that I'm not just spending money for nothing lol
but also to annoy my fishin buddies. I've posted most of my fish in here this year but I'm trying to stick to the more notable ones

Perhaps more important than the money aspect ...... I typically send at least one fish pic to my wife each time out....sure, she likes bass fishing and looking at big fish....but it doesn't hurt to remove any doubt that I'm really out on the water all day

I have an app called FishBrain where people constantly do that!

I just consider myself a very private person. Plus, I consider almost everyone on here better than I am, so I'm much more comfortable listening rather than talking.

Omnia has it's own system - post where/when/how caught...link to the baits on their site. Monthly, they have a drawing from all those who posted catches - winner gets a $250 gift cert.

Ya, I post my catches there...

I’m as averse to selfies as anyone.

I'm the king of 14 inchers. If a fish makes me happy, I'll take a picture regardless of size.

I caught some 14-inchers that were fat beauties and proudly posted them.

I go fishing, not picture taking.  My phone isn't with me in the boat.  I've never taken a photo of a fish

I take fish pictures sometimes if they are good size, But I have no idea how to get them on here. Some day I will try to see if I can figure it out.

I have pictures of me with fish when I was 2 years old before the first cell phone was ever invented

Bass it it's name, I am counting it.

Here's a 14-incher on the fast track to being a 4-pounder. I love catching short, fat fish:

I miss your fish so much, always so healthy and rich in color.    If I were a Bass, I wouldn't mind living in Maine ?

I always take pictures of my fish and almost always weighthem. Not so much to share, although i do share the worthy ones with friends.

Honestly for me, it's a way to log my catches. I use fishbrain. It logs where and on what. Weight. Weather and moon phase. As a guy who's learning I'll often go back and look for patterns, what spots produced and on what baits. I think it's a helpful tool. Plus at the end of the year i like to see my total catches and total weight.

Keep it private or you'll just be inviting poachers to your home lakes. Good way to absolutely destroy your spots.

will post pics maybe in may or june?

Just make sure location is turned off and take pictures without showing the background, or take the fish to an area you've never caught one and take pictures there lol.

Geo-tracking is always off. In addition, all pics are emailed to me, saved in docs or photos, then a copy is made with all possible info scrubbed.
