I'm more excited for the opener of Toledo Bend in FEB. as any sporting event I can remember.   It's going to be epic, a century belt will be awarded, a DD or two will be caught, and big Glides will be

Taku Ito has a whopping 63% of the picks in group B.

I saw that too and almost picked someone else. Fingers crossed I guess

These immediate turn-arounds to the next event, and month-and-a-half gaps before, drive me nuts.

Its at least the second time they've done it this season.  Maybe the third.

Questionable scheduling to say the least.

Ask any tourney trail director in America and they will tell you scheduling is by far the hardest part of it. Have a northern tourney in spring or fall and weather will ruin it. Then you have all the other trails to not schedule on top of, you’ll never make everyone happy

Technically the weather could ruin it in the summer too. Like the day it was postponed on Champlain last week.

It wouldn’t be that hard to just not schedule events on back to back weeks. They start in February and go through August. There’s weeks that go by without an event and then they put them back to back. Over and over it’s the same mistakes being made here.

I've been on vacation so I haven't been around to remind everyone to get their picks in for SLR. I hope everyone is ready for a slugfest!

Well not doing so good

It'll run off the tracks tomorrow, but I got 3 anglers in the top 4 currently.   Last two anglers are 11 and 24.   Thinking it'll be my best single day of the season.

I took Gallant just to pick someone with a lower percentage. Hes from Ontario and rooms with the Johnsons. Bottom 10.

Nice selection with Gee.

Been fun this year always next year 👍

Gallant was a strong play.   9 minute penalty for being late is a derby killer.   Tough break for those who played him.   Mckinney screwed me at Harris Chain on a penalty.

Thought I might win the day for once, nope tied with the leader of the group, BassNJake 😁

Rick Clunn has announced he is retiring from the BASS Elites. He said he has plans to fish a few of the Opens next season as he sees fit to his schedule.

I bet the odds of having Lake Of The Ozarks on the OPENS schedule next year has gone up significantly with that announcement.

Oof, I think I had my worst finish of any season that I've done this.... other than last year, when I forgot to set my team for, like, 3 events.

But NEXT year, everybody better look out, I'm comin'!

My Drain the Lake picks were much better. I finished at 96.8.

2024 Season Recap

Champion - lmoore

Runner Up - BassnJake

And just like that, our 2024 season is a wrap. I'd like to thank all the people who played along this season and made this season super fun for all of us. I always look forward to talking with everyone before and after the events and seeing how everyone did. Having a large group of people playing along is what makes this group so fun. Huge shout out to @lmoore and @BassNJake for taking the top spots in the group. Lmoore is now our Back2Back winner (23 &24) and he managed to do it by taking 121st overall in all of the 35k+ Fantasy players. Very impressive! We had 7 guys this year break the 10k point marker (8 if you count nebass78 scoring 9999). We had a total of 49 people play along this year. Of that, we had 41 people who played every event, and 43 played 9/10 events. I'm so happy that we have such a dedicated group of players and I appreciate all of you putting in the time to making picks for each event and playing along.

They usually open up the new season around January, so keep your eyes peeled for my thread for the 2025 season around then. Hopefully everyone returns and then some.

@gimruis Thank you for the kind words. I enjoy keeping this little community together and duking it out along the way. I hope to see all of you back again next year.
