  • I grab the side of the engine with one hand and pee over the side. As for a number 2, I haven’t had any emergencies with that, but I was with a saltwater guide who had one. He stripped down and jumped

  • I whizz over the side or if conditions don't allow, I keep a large laundry soap bottle with the top cut off.  Doubles as an emergency solid waste collector.  Dude wipes are a standard item. I wii

I just hold it (#2) until I'm at the next available toilet.

Maybe I've got a little more self control than others do here.

Enjoy that while it lasts . . .

Because like so many things in this life,

those valves wear out a bit over time.

Someday, at any given moment,

you might know exactly how far you are from and the precise travel time to each and every head within a 10 mile radius of your current position.

The lake I fish has several floating toilets scattered around the lake. It takes 10-15 minutes to get to one. The fine for peeing in the lake is $500

Only in California.

Well....there's one lake in Washington that has floating toilets.  However there are no fines. They're just there for convenience since there are few parks/marinas. Most of the shoreline is private or native land.

I'm holding out for the floating latte stands. LOL!

I'm gonna need a picture of these floating toilets.  Preferably, not a selfie.

Look for USS Relief, floating rest rooms.

Tom

I always keep an empty plastic coffee container in my livewell.  It works for a variety of functions.

I use a small Folgers can and pour overboard for #1. I am in the market for a larger container though, as I’ve filled it a time or two. I usually just go over the side of nobody is around. #2 I keep T-P and dude wipes in a waterproof bag. It’s rare that I ever need it but you never know. I try to get that out of the way before going on the water and I pay attention to what I eat the night before I fish, so that helps.

Here’s what they look like

A little bigger, and I could live there.

I used to stand on the bow but getting older I have to brace myself or get to a bank with a tree to hold on to.  #2 hit the bank and dig a hole.

Can’t stand or pee over the side in my canoe so I do like the truckers and use a bottle of some sort, that’s hard enough. No choice but head for shore for anything else. Don’t recall bass fishing anywhere that had for real toilets.

Urine bottles are inexpensive.

Tom

In a bottle and over the side. Same place the fish, turtles, and frogs go.

Never in my life heard of a floating toilet!  I just pee over the side of the boat. But our lakes are mostly all surrounded by nature. I could see where it’d be more difficult if the entire lake was covered by boat docks.

A must have in my boat

#1 over the side

#2 we heading to the bank!

#1 - empty gatoraid bottle, dump and rinse

#3 - coffee can, seal and take home to dispose of

Far as someone else in the boat - if you wanna watch, that's your kink...I don't really care.
