Wonder if these were hand made by Namiki imself?

Dollars to donuts they thought they were putting in the price as yen.

So, $12.50, give or take?

I sent the seller an offer of $800 shipped, but he may block me for low balling :)

At that price, you'd be crazy not to get 4.

I think these are the old OSP spinnerbaits, maybe the original version.  Also,  the item is listed as used. I believe they are rare but the listing is a cash grab.

Yen to USD is 5.69. I'm guessing the seller is selling in the wrong currency.

Some squid bought a banana taped to a wall for a million bucks so this is peanuts.

Jokes aside this guy probably meant to type 12500yen and typed 125000. I dont think even the biggest OSP/Namiki fanboy in Japan would buy it for 12500yen though hence why hes trying his luck on the international market haha

More than likely the guys who commented he put the wrong price are right.

But on that auction site specifically theres been many times people put something for sale for an absurd price knowing no person would ever buy it. Except the one person they sold something else to in person but needed a legitimate sale to show the IRS for how they made the money.

So you never know.

Do you get a free NRX+ with it?

I ordered one.  Can't wait to show you all the world records I catch this year.

I would hope the price is a mistake.  Ain't no way I'm making payments on a spinnerbait.

All joking aside, fishing culture in Japan is on another level. Most fishing company CEOs are household names for fisherman there (and JDM fanatics worldwide). Some of these guys are rock stars! They're on TV, weekly pod casts, magazines, etc (there's glossy, color magazines dedicated to nothing other than fishing lures in Japan!  )

Namiki is certainly one of the better known and beloved CEOs (he started OSP). He's responsible for some of the greatest JDM lures ever made. And he's definitely fish crazy. His college thesis was on bass fishing!  In the US, you may have seen him on The Hook Up Tackle's channel. Always fascinating to hear his mindset on why he created a bait the way he did.

So if this was a special handmade spinnerbait by Namiki, I could (somehow) see it commanding such a price....though I do agree with others in thinking this was just a price typo.

If you think those is steep, you should see the price of some of the Japanese swim baits made by artisans there! 4 figures...

The funny thing is that I have one of these spinnerbaits in my garage. Mine is a different color but the same bait. Hoping its not a $800 bait as I already tore it apart to make a mold.

I don't think 46 does jealousy. He is, after all, the world's happiest angler.

Ah yes @Swamp Girl you are correct. But just think of the possibility of him catching the world record sheepshead on that spinner bait🤯

He keeps buying all the spinnerbaits which is why the price is so high.

That's got to be why my favorite Dobyn's spinnerbaits are currently sold out.
