@Chief250, I don’t think that place at your price point exists here in California. If it does, it’d would probably be easy to find due to the long line of people waiting to make a offer lol. I’d personally opt for a home that keeps the Mrs happy with a large 3 car in a neighborhood 10-20 minutes from a launch ramp. Good luck with your quest!

I don’t know about that @A-Jay, I think someone might have something to say about it. And it difficult to argue with a Super Bowl winning percentage of .1000. And after last night’s game with so much on the line, it is definitely is nice to be on the winning side of “it’s a game of inches”.... Go Niners!

Two good games last night. Joe Burrow looked very polished throwing darts all over the field, OU’s receivers didn’t help J. Hurt with some untimely drops. Clemson and Ohio State was a heavyweight matchup, and I was surprised by Ohio State’s team speed early against the reigning National Champs. The last 4 minutes both teams played with the heart of a champion, that last second pick sealing the game. I’m looking forward to January 13th like the rest of you. @Sam, nicely done adding Bobby Boucher in the trio of the 9’s ?

I ran outta “likes” halfway through this thread?! I guess I’ll be resupplied tomorrow. My youngest out did herself. Two Christmas ago, my gift was getting a different salami from a different country every month. This year, I received a “Man Crate”, complete with crowbar, containing numerous exotic jerky for when I go out in the boat. I mean, what’s a “Biltong” anyway? Not to mention a complete plastic bait kit from the same company. I did get a few fishing items, reel, lures, and my license with a two rod stamp. But I thought the Man Crate was pretty cool stuff.

Thanks everyone for your help ‘cause I pulled the trigger on the Bantam. Just have to wait for it to transit the Pacific before I can put it in play. Looking forward to that day in 2020.

Just my 2 cents. When you’re taking the stuff outta your vehicle that you don’t want to have stolen, don’t forget to remove that garage door opener from the car that’s probably on the visor. Be sure to lock the door and put everything you removed in the house. Before the voters recently changed the law in this state, theft from an unlocked vehicle was a misdemeanor, from a locked vehicle a felony. YMMV depending on your state. Sorry fellas, gun play for a few pieces of property just isn’t worth it in my opinion. Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas all, I’ve got a couple of questions regarding the Bantam vs Metanium discussion, so that’s why I resurrected this thread. I’m looking at a MGL XG specifically after I received the OK from Mrs Claus to make this purchase. I plan to replace my Alphas Type F with it to pitch senkos, possibly with a JDM variant. I checked BR to get experienced opinions, and discovered the Metanium doesn’t have brass gears. I checked the Tackle Trap link and the replacement gear set for the left hand model is out of stock. I’m leaning towards the Metanium due to my perception of if being a little better at throwing lighter baits. The consensus is the Bantam is the more solid of the two. Thanks guys again for your help

Ahh, ‘76 when your ‘Hawks joined the AFC West, Zorn and Largent made for one hell of a rivalry game with the then very blue-collar Oakland Raiders. I don’t expect anything less from both teams given the NFC West title, the No. #1 seed, a chance to get healthy, and bragging rights are on the line. And what’s this I heard this morning about Marshawn contacting the ‘Hawks about a vacancy? At this point, I still think this is gonna be a good one with a lot to play for....

I agree with your assessment of tonight’s game. Rams look like their O-line is playing up to last years form, and the D-line was applying pressure all night. Glad there’s more football to play, Seattle is gonna be tough. The NFC West is gonna be even more of a dog fight next year. Best of luck to you and your Rams
