  1. I have a buddy who's considered 100% disabled. He got run over by a jeep back in 1990 which destroyed his knee. He worked with a VA attorney starting about 15 years ago and was finally granted 100% about 5 or so years ago. It's a very slow process. He's been going to PT 3 days a week for years, as they say no surgery will ever fix his knee. His other knee and hips are bad now due to the original injury.
  2. It was on the shelf at my grocery store yesterday
  3. I probably could have. I think the craft bourbon/whiskey trend sparked a craft tequila trend. I see more and more tequila's popping up every day
  4. Speaking of rotating, I have the tires rotated every oil change. Ford recommends 60psi in the front and 65psi in the rear. They never adjust the pressure after they rotate them.
  5. They were sampling at the grocery store this evening. Very smooth.

I call BS. How much is your time worth? How much did you pay to have a charging station installed in your home? How much "road tax" are you paying since it's not being paid at the pump?
  8. If you can avoid the cancer, you're ahead of the game. Pancreatic cancer is pretty much 100% nails in the coffin.

Going to jinx myself here. I'm done with Dodge. Had 3, never again. Last truck was an 08 Tundra built in 07, the first year of the last generation. The discontinued 5.7 is a helluva engine, but I had a bunch of work done under warranty and a bunch of work done out of warranty. I'm at almost 100K on the Super Duty and the only work aside from maintenance and recalls has been a water pump and a tailgate latch.

Clean and oil the guns. If you live in a humid climate throw some silica packs in there. Personally, I think keeping the ammo in a cool dry place is more important than the firearm.
  12. Everyday is groundhog day no matter the time of year. Get up, go to work, come home, rinse and repeat. Doesn't matter if its light or dark outside.

I put 3 sets on the Tundra, the Super Duty came from the factory with them, I bought a set at 50K and just put another on now at 98K. As far as Michelin's, they were factory on the 2008 Tundra. I got 65K out of them which was probably 10K too much. The last 10K, the tires had virtually zero traction. They were a LT tire with highway tread.

As do I. And GY does the rotations for free for the lifetime of the tire. Between the last 2 trucks, I'm on my 4th or 5th set of GY Wrangler Adventure with Kevlar. They have a 60K warranty but really need replacing around 50K. They're quiet, work well in the snow and mud, and I've never had a leak or a flat. These are being discontinued and replaced with the Steadfast. I would have switched but they are not yet available in the size I need.
  16. In that case, let mother nature take care of herself.
  17. We're going to have open water for some time yet. I think you jumped the gun.
  18. Got tires and a tune up on the SuperDuty and enough left over to pay the taxes on the winnings
  19. I have never hired a guide. I've gone on numerous salmon charters. My first guided trip will be the Wisconsin opener 2024. Should have been the opener 2023 but his engine blew up. If I still had my Lund, I wouldn't waste the money. What I mean by that is, there is enough info on line for someone who has a boat, half a brain, and an unlimited amount of time, to figure out how to fish.
  20. Somewhat of a late post. I bought and filled out raffle entries at the Schaumburg fishing show back in January. I get contacted on Sept 12th that I won 1st place. I picked up a check a few weeks ago. Illinois BASS Nation and Make A Wish paired up for this. Never won anything in my life until this.
  21. Screamo Bluegrass??? They're actually pretty talented.
  22. Thankfully no one and no pets were standing there when it happened.... Because of EPA regulations, refrigerator manufacturers are moving towards flammable refrigerants. Google "refrigerator explosion", it's more common than not
