  1. Hard bait…. Rapala silver/ black back, plastics…. ribbon tail worm.
  2. I’ve got that one too, it catches.
  3. Hi from the Sunshine State of Florida. I’ve learned and still learning from this forum. Please do, post a picture of your Jon boat build.
  4. Congratulations That’s great
  5. I’ve seen the shiner guys catch bass when they cast net for shiners. I fish the shiner poles myself. I just keep a wild eyed storm rigged and laying on deck and work each side of the markers when I come across them. They get moved around, so it’s when I see one. I’ve haven’t heard of anybody chumming for bass, but they do chum for shiners and people will fish the markers. I fish the St. John’s and since the lack of eel grass around where I live has made the shiner guys move elsewhere. Like @F14A-B said they do chum for shrimp here on the St John’s . I use hog finisher from the feed store.
  6. https://www.walmart.com/ip/535539534?sid=652b2a99-e812-42e3-8215-064f5f9812bc I carry most of the same stuff but I carry this breaker bar lug nut wrench. it fits four size lug nut and bar is extendable. I want to get a spare hub and bearings
  7. I got a flat, had the keyed lugged wheel nuts, no key for the lug nuts. I was able to air it up, with my jumper pack/ compressor. Drive a little while and re-air. Pulled into a tire shop, explained my problem, he ask if I wanted to saved the keyed lug nut. I said “no”, he yelled to a kid. In a few minutes the kid handed me the keyed lugs nut. He used a hammer and chisel, I was amazed how fast he had them off. I realized I had a false sense of security
  8. Hey there everyone, Not to long ago, a member here, showed a device here where you took a picture with a fob. The app on your phone calculates weight and length of your catch. Does anybody remember what the name of it was? I can’t find it. thanks G
  9. I keep it simple….. 12 mono Big Game, low-vis green on almost everything. 50# Berkeley 9X on my two rigs I fish the ruff stuff with.
  10. Oh that is not your every day fig newtons…hahaha So please don’t tell your Noona, I want to be able to taste one those one day.
  11. Boiled Brussels sprouts….. won’t do it. My scale is a analog type, is that good enough?

I’m with @RFSims I like them on lures that wobble, I think I get a little bit more action out of them. I tie my Texas rigged stuff, with bullet weight.
  13. Hey Everyone….I should have put an explanation clause….I’ve had to look up almost everything y’all are having. @Mike L correct me if I’m wrong..but Sicilian cucidadi cookies = really fancy fig newtons right? @TnRiver46 you really churched up with schnitzel, that equals “country fried whatever” … beat the crap out of it with a piece of locust , bread it and fry it in some lard. Right? @DitchPanda I’m still trying to figure out what a grilled Robert is, got the deviled eggs and potatoe salad. @Jigfishn10 Sloppy Joes ….got it…. right there with ya. @Jig Man You got me with the six boy turkey curry….. I even google it. found Turkey curry… lost me on the six boy. But I will take some of your jalapeño veggies.. love them. @TOXIC all I can say is WOW, no matter what you finally have to to eat …call it a day. A peanut butter and jelly sandwich would do me. You had a busy holiday’s
  14. HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE
  15. I understand…..I’ve got a few. My new favorite is a BPS prodigy, got on clearance… The old black and white model. It is an all around good darn reel and rod. My Shimano chronarch can really bomb a top water out there. Got a carbonlite for my worm rig…. It’s got to be the quietest reel that I’ve never heard. Got an Ole Penn 209 that is so strong it could pull my boat under or the river bottom up …. Which ever one gave up first. So yep …I’ve got a few favorites too.
  16. What do you eat for New Year’s Day? Do you have a traditional meal? Do you order a pizza and veg in front of the tv? Whats your New Year’s Day deal? When I was young, my grandmother would fix roast beef and cabbage. Even if you didn’t like it you had to eat a little bit. It was to start the new year out right. (She would fix a ham too) Now My wife being a Floridian, born and raised, It’s black eyed peas and greens. ( I have to admit, like it better the the roast beef and cabbage)

  18. I use Big Game 12lb ….. like Frank’s hot sauce.
  19. Hi from the Sunshine State of Florida and Happy New Year
  20. I went to Rodman Reservoir yesterday, they have let alot of water out of it. I really didn’t know of all the trees were in there. The area around the spillway was riddled with standing dead trees. Most of them are under the water surface. It is pretty scary for an outdrive. I walked around the out skirts, I figured I would find a ton of lures….. by the tracks out there everyone thought that too. I didn’t even find one hook, it was pretty scavenged through. There was a lot of wallows or fish beds just outside the channel buy the parks boat ramp….. Wonder where they will move to. A lot of people were fishing below the spillway for panfish. All in all I had fun, explored all around….. I didn’t know they had a couple of campgrounds too. Water and power hookups as well. I will come back when they have refilled the lake with my boat.
  21. I can get the cheaper one snagged just as easy as the expensive one.
  22. Me too I’ve been using “ xps egg” from Bass Pro, kinda of the same but different. Color selection is slim too. I have caught fish on them.
  23. I save all my plastics, I use them in various ways. Then I melt them down and use them again. When I do use new worms for trailers, I like ribbon tail or curly tail. I just cut them down or split the tail on a straight tail.
  24. WOW! He truly will be missed. My thoughts and condolences to the family. I’m saddened beyond what words can express.
  25. Me too I’ve already hinted for next year for me…. Well kinda hinted I showed them @Eric 26 picture and said I want one of these for Christmas next year.
