I don’t know why it was invented. Never used it. I’m not telling anyone what to do. I’m just saying what I know works for me. I’m not getting endorsements for any of it. You do you. I’ll do me. I haven’t had problems with pure gas.

As long as I can get it, I’m staying with pure gas for all my small engines. I’m not taking a chance on treated ethanol gas. Might work, might not. I know pure gas works for me.

Yep if your buddy in the same boat can catch them on drop shot, no reason you can’t. That’s where I’d start anyway.

I’ve pretty much given up on most of the standard fast food restaurants. Covid killed most of them here. They never have a full staff and seem to care less about serving you unless you’re in the drive through. As mentioned before, I suspect it depends on individual locations too. Texas Roadhouse seems to do a good job but there is usually a wait. For fast service, we go to Panda Express, Fazoli’s, Chicken Salad Chic or Mission BBQ.

I pour gas into the hole after dark. Don’t light it. Kills them dead!

I eat it because I like it, chain or no chain. Why can’t a chain pizza taste good?? Mom and Pop doesn’t automatically make it good.

I use them for smallmouth in the New River. I actually prefer them over the 4”. I’ve used them many ways—light jig head, whacky, Ned rig. All with success. Depends on the water. In very slow current I’ll use them weightless with only a small hook in the head.

No! I fish a river 90% of the time. I cast in all directions. Can’t say one direction is better than the other. If they are there and hungry, they will eat it no matter what direction it’s coming from.
