It's a Bartram Bass I first remember them being mentioned as a species maybe 6 years ago and think I caught that one in 2019

2022 I didn't catch any mosters but caught plenty solid fish both from bank and kayak. Best producers were: 3/8 Mini Max Chatterbait in Pearl Ghost/3" Yamamoto Zako White Trailer I couldn't put this thing down late summer/early fall ended up being my confidence bait my last few outings. I'd just cruise the banks casting it at any target and when they bite usually was good ones. 5" Senko Green Pumpkin Magic Wacky rigged did some damage both quantity and quality wise. Caught several nice preapawn females on it bank fishing some ponds in the spring. 3/8 oz Dirty Jigs Finesse in The Goto with Big Bite Baits Yomama 3" trailer in Green Pumpkin. This was my intro to jig fishing combo and it got me my 3 biggest in the spring.

GA resident believe its $15 for fishing and another $10 for trout license annually. Saltwater is free just have to get the permit added to your licence called a SIP.

Take 5/6 normally in the kayak 3 spinning and 2 casting if I do take the 6th its usually another spinning rod. Spinning MLXF(ned) MXF(wacky/light texas rigs/neko) MF(small swimbaits/jerkbaits/small cranks) Casting MHF(Chatterbaits/jigs) MHXF(jigs/texas rigs) or MHM(cranks)

Sensitivity is the same to me between them I can feel what I need to feel with them both equally. 852S is just my favorite I love throwing a wacky rig and light Texas rigged baits with that rod for largemouth. I mostly use the 872S when I'm fishing deeper and for spots here in the south.

I have both and fish from the bank a decent amount the 852S is my favorite of the 2 but admit the 872S casts a little bit further for me. If I'm not mistaken the 872S supposedly was designed for the techniques you mentioned you want to use it for.

Broke a Victory Spinning rod earlier this year filled out warranty form and submitted pictures as requested. I then got a email in 2 days to call them and a reference number to provide. Called and requested to upgrade paid the difference from Victory to Legend Elite and they shipped it when the model was available. Didn't have to ship the broken rod to them and didn't pay shipping for the new rod either. Was a great experience for me.

Haha that's what happened to me said I just wanted one to start and now I have 5 of them. Never tried a GLX but I do have a 852S and it's my favorite spinning rod I have. Find the right shop you can get NRX for close(or below) GLX price so it doesn't hurt as much when you fill that lineup with them?.

I'd say 75% spinning and 25% casting for me. I really only use my casting setups for chatterbaits, squarebills, and jigs.

I have a Legend Elite Spinning model with those specs I use mostly for wacky/neko rigs, light texas rigs(1/8-3/16 + plastic), and have thrown little underspins as well with it.

Agreed I have a Conquest 842S and a few NRX+ spinning rods of all them the 842S is the most versatile because it is a F and not XF action but my favorite is the 852S. 842S casts further thatn 852 and handles lighter baits and trebles a bit better for me than the others.

I searched around for a couple weeks trying to find the Bluegill 3/8 oz size recently lol. What trailers are you using? I been using the new 3in zakos but wanted to try some other options.

I have the 12V 100AH and also a 20AH for my fish finder. I regularly fish a 350 acre lake since I bought the kayak and I have spent 6-8 hours out on it each time so far covering alot of water and also cruising banks and spot locking a bit. The lowest my 100A battery has gotten to is 71% after a trip, usually I'm in the 80% range when done. I went out 3 times in a row without having to charge it recently.

I have the same kayak just got it back in July and already it has changed my fishing. It's my first vessel of any kind I had only been a bank angler until now so I've been able to take it to place on lakes I could not in the past and even fish some lakes that have 0 bank access. Accessories is a deep hole!!! I was buying them way in advance and it costed me to waste some money buying things that didn't work for the Kayak so I would only get necessities in advance. PFD, Paddle, correct cart, and maybe even the battery ahead of time and stop there. It's a great kayak and I am sure you will enjoy it and I can't wait to see how you rig yours out.

Loomis 843C & 852S my favorite rods I have could take just those 2 and fish all my favorite techniques with ease.

Same I warrantied a broken Victory Spinning rod and upgraded to a Legend Elite. Just paid the difference in the rod line prices no shipping charge and didn't have to send in broken rod. This was back in February of this year.
