  1. Don't know for sure but I would bet money is the reason.
  2. I bought my last bulk on eBay.
  3. I not a Bulldog fan or Sooner fan, but that is one of the best games I have seen in a long time.
  4. I love bass fishing but there is no way I would fish at 9 degrees.
  5. Sounds like a great way to spent a cold day.
  6. You're right, I only wear mine fishing.
  7. Nice pics, thanks for sharing.
  8. I will go with the crowd and say 2.
  9. Happy New Year Michael !!!!
  10. Happy New Year to everyone !!!
  11. Hardly ever get that cold here but you would think a jigging spoon would work. I can only remember one time that a pond I fished froze completely over.
  12. I was just about to say that !!!!
  13. I just wait (if I can) until I get enough of things to order to get free shipping.
  14. Thanks Glenn for all you do for this board and thanks to everyone on here. Hope everyone has a great 2018 !!!!
  15. This is the hat I wear, can't beat it in the summertime. I really like the back flap, keeps the sun off my neck.
  16. Jacob Powroznik, believe he came close last Classic they were there.
  17. I retired at 62 which was my plan. Worked 41 years at the same company. Yes, many die when they retired but I think the key is to stay active. I have a part time job, 2 1/2 days a week, play golf, walk, and of course fish. I don't know how much all this helps but it certainly can't hurt. I will be retired 5 year shortly and highly recommend it to anyone.
  18. I don't use leaders on my bait casters but I love regular Power Pro on my spinning. I use the yellow hi vis and it works great. Yes it will fade but I think all do. When that happens, I pull all of it off and reverse it on the spool.
  19. Most any med. light/med rod will work. Ned fishing is not a feeling game so the rod don't have to be that sensitive. The St. Croix mention above will be as good as any.
  20. I remember Stan and also have heard the name Worth before but never heard of the Aquacone. The lure on the left reminds me of a river runt but I don't think it is.
  21. I will say if you can afford it and want it, go for it. If you think it will make you a better fisherman then it probably will (more confidence). I personally would not pay over $200 for a rod and so far, $160 is the most I have paid but I have no problem with fisherman buying expensive gear if it makes them happy.
  22. Congrats on your year. Great pictures !!!

Played guitar off and on since the 60's. Just in the last 2 months I started playing again from a 2-3 year layoff. I like classic rock, surf music, mostly anything from the 60's. Here is some guitars I have owned. Only one left is the Taylor 714 and the Fender '52 RI Tele. Really wanting another guitar with humbuckers but don't want to put out the money for another Gibson, too much fishing stuff to buy.
  24. Missed getting in last but will this year for sure.
