  1. These are the only clips I use if bass fishing, for panfish I will use duo lock snaps. https://www.amazon.com/TACTICAL-ANGLERS-Power-Clips/dp/B07KK18GRR/ref=asc_df_B07KK18GRR?tag=bngsmtphsnus-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=80058307957572&hvnetw=s&hvqmt=e&hvbmt=be&hvdev=c&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=&hvtargid=pla-4583657835663667&th=1&psc=1 These take one second to put on/take off and won't bend out. The worst clips I ever used were VMC.
  2. Yes on the flat stern/transom. It's a standard trolling motor with the handle control like an outboard motor.
  3. The stern is square and they sell a $30 mount that works great with a standard trolling motor. I use a 45lb Minn Kota and Dakota lithium battery and the thing can go all day, and is super comfortable.
  4. Buy a NuCanoe F10 or 12, you can mount a motor right on the back. Get the optional mount to protect the hull. It's a great combo!
  5. Why bother? Probably nothing new to see.
  6. Swammers 4” on belly weighted under spin has been a go to swimbait rig for the last 3 years for me. It’s my favorite swimbait. Hella craws is a very good jig trailer, haven’t tried it on a t rig yet. I think the flat top on the swammers is what gives them their magic movement.
  7. My PB Smallie was 23 1/4" and weighed 6.25. A couple 22" 1st was 5.75, less fat one was 5.5.
  8. You guys who "don't have time to rub" your plastics....come on. What's it take two seconds while you're putting the bait on? Sheesh.
  9. Every trip out I have two 843c and one or two 844c MBR rods. I do like my 783c MBR for close cover fishing spinnerbaits, and jerkbaits though. I'd go 843 all day.
  10. I frequently throw a 3.5” Rebel jointed minnow fished as both a jerkbait and top water bait. It casts better than an original Rapala which I also use all the time. Both have done great for me. try that new bait out!

I sometimes feel like I'm the only person on BR who throws Husky Jerks and catches lots of fish on them. Anyone else have luck with them? Very inexpensive too.
  12. Siebert Outdoors Morel heads are the best standard style I've thrown.
  13. Someone should do an individual Senko to egg price ratio comparison.
  14. Where did you see this information?
  15. That rod storage system looks interesting. I think it wouldn't be a good fit for me though, I'd get tanged up in that thing.
  16. This is my favorite clear water SMB spook jr color
  17. NRX 852c JWR. I have both GLX and IMX-Pro 752c rods, and think they may be my favorite rods. Great at so much. If the NRX+ is lighter weight that the GLX version it will feel like a feather in your hand. A perfect rod for all the applications you mentioned. Also an excellent 1/4 MiniMax, and 1/4oz spinnerbait rod.
  18. Biggest bass this year: Neko BPS stick-O skipped under a dock 24" LMB MiniMax Chatterbait- two over 22" multiple 3-4.5lb bass Home made BOSS finesse ball head jig, with Zoom chunk two bass over 20" Tokyo rig w/ Pit Boss 5/0 hook Frog a bunch of 4lb+ fish Rebel 3.5" broke back minnow fished on top, two 4lb and one 5lb bass I had a great year for number and size in 2022.
  19. You might lose less baits with 15lb mono, and it might be more effective too.
  20. Do you have the Feather in the 7'1" MH and H? You dig them?
  21. Tokyo rigs are really great coming through any wood/brush cover, and also really great on hard bottoms. Slow dragging them is a very successful way to fish them. In weed and wood cover I like popping them a little, and long drags too. Try them out! I like the Pit Boss, worms, and swim baits.
  22. So I received a new jar of U-40 the other day, and tried it next to the one I added water to. The old one with added water is the same exact consistency as the new one, but it doesn't work very well. So I am saying that adding water to old dried U-40 doesn't work 100%, but seems to kind of work a little.
  23. Thx. So you don't ever use to crank with huh?
