  1. The Zoom Meathead is also a killer drop shot worm.
  2. Loomis 852c JWR. Very versatile and great for tons of other things too. Also great for light jigs/t rigs, flukes, chatterbait mini max 1/4oz, 3” swimbaits w belly weight hook, small spinner baits.
  3. Sounds like you have the golden ticket reel, it’s magic! I defies science.
  4. Try the Xpride 7’ light. It’s an amazing for lots of stuff.
  5. It’s a great line, and priced very fairly. I use it from 8lb to 50lb and in all sizes it works great.
  6. Try fishing a lighter head, and not dragging it. 1/16oz can kind of dance through a lot of snags.
  7. The currently available 2017 Tatula is an excellent chatterbait reel. You can usually get them for around $170
  8. GREAT reel In every way you want your reel to feel, operate, look. Super smooth, and solid feeling.
  9. I love the Champion 702c and 705c
  10. When I shop for used JDM reels (from Japan) on Ebay, most of them are really scratched up on the top of the reel. Probably because they are being used for shore fishing.
  11. I can guarantee they exist in the real world, I've seen them!
  12. The NuCanoe F10 is probably what you should have bought. It's so easy to move around and set up.
  13. Thanks for the tip of using the hunting access points. I’ll keep an eye out for the deep spots too! I tried that area right by the boat ramp before
  14. Anyone have a nice access to the Kankakee River for smallies near Chicago? Wading
  15. How's the hook up ratio with this jig head?
  16. I would say you are not missing any bites. That hook would just appear as a craw leg or something.
  17. NIce! I did great to day with that red shad worm on a shaky head.
  18. in order: Zoom Meathead Smallie Smasher roboworm
  19. As far as balance goes, I have two IMX-Pro 852c rods loaded with Metanium 150’s that balance great.
  20. I would choose either the regular Metanium 150, or the Steez. No reason to get the DC version IMO.
  21. Make sure you are not over filling your spool.
  22. 8” jelly worm is an incredible bait
  23. This season I decided to try two baits considered classics that I have never tried. I guess there's a reason these baits are so well respected. Both have been catching numbers, and good size bass. I guess I'll be stocking two more baits to keep in regular rotation. Try the classics! Culprit 7.5" red shad Yamamoto 4" Fat Ika I've been rigging the Ika with the skirt by the hook eye. Looks like a fat TRD, until to move it, then it swims erratically and sinks away from you.
