Used Boat Price
Personally, I'd list it for $12K and see if anyone wants to deal from there. Your TM is top of the line, and the graphs aren't outdated. Cosmetically it looks fantastic, and if the engine checks out good someone will be interested IMO. Another option is trying to sell it without the Ultrex and graphs and moving them onto your next rig. Some people buying their first boat only look at the initial cash outlay, and don't realize how much the peripherals are worth.

Maryland's Who's who!
Hit Little Seneca Lake yesterday after work for a couple hours. Made it back to the Little Seneca Creek side and was throwing a black popper the whole time, trying to imitate a cicada. The cicadas are all over the water now, water temp was at 78. Got 5 LMB, best of the day was about 2.5lbs, all were thick, probably gorging on cicadas. They wanted very little action, basically just deadsticked after the first couple twitches. I did see 4 snakeheads, and had one good one nose the popper but none would commit.

What saltwater lures should I get
I like Cotton Cordell Spoons, MirroLures, Heddon Spooks for a topwater blitz, Gulp mullets on a jighead, and if it's slick calm, Vudu Shrimp on a popping cork. Otherwise just bloodworms, shrimp, or squid on a high/low rig bottom rig.

Potomac River
That’s probably one of the coolest features of the tidal creeks, conditions change daily with the tide but also then with the vegetation and rainfall based on various times of the year. I feel like I will never master the river, and I’m always learning which keeps me going back.

Potomac River
Just FYI - there's a MLF event June 17-20th on the Potomac out of Smallwood State Park. It's gonna be a busy weekend out there.

Maryland's Who's who!
I fished Tuesday and Thursday morning at Mattawoman Creek around the high tide so I was fishing mostly pads and grassline. Not much topwater action on Tuesday, just one LMB on a frog, the rest on paddletails. Thursday was almost all on the toad (chartreuse to match the hatch), great overcast cover.

Maryland's Who's who!
There is a cove to the left of the Greenbridge launch area you can hike around and fish. You can also bank fish the Triadelphia Lake Rd rec area. If you look left of the launch there are some steps that lead up to a trail which takes you around some nice rock drop offs where I used to catch lots of crappie as a kid.

Battery life and electronics
Grab one of those battery jumper power packs that go on sale for like $30, should be no prob for 40HP. Then just use your electronics without worrying too much.

Potomac River
A nice 5lber today at Mattawoman on the last hour of incoming just off a spatterdock point. Zero boats around me, gotta love it.

Daiwa Tatula Elite AGS Casting Rod 7' Med-MH Ehrler
The most unique thing about this rod is there lure rating range. It’s pretty close to both ends, maybe just a tad over and under the lower and upper ratings.

Potomac River
I don't like fishing the main stem, but prefer the small tidal creeks when they push shallow after spawning and before they go back deeper in the late fall. Yeah, not a big fan of community hole fishing either and would rather go way back into the pads and grass away from other boats. I also don't enjoy flipping docks/walls all day either.

'Real' boat purchase...maybe? Can you tell me about possible picks.
Definitely go for it, life is too short and waiting 2-3 years for a deal is not certain. I had a 14" older fiberglass boat, and it did its job and got me on the water and I enjoyed it. I purchased a new boat in March, and now I love being on the water, fishing, cruising, just being on the water.

Kayak Fishfinder: Yay or Nay?
Another option for kayakers is to use a Deeper. The battery is built-in, and has a pretty decent charge. They make bendable arm mounts for them too.

If you had a time machine that could let you fish anywhere on earth at any time in history, when/where would you go?
Back to when my grandpa was healthy in his 30s and teaching my dad how to fish.

Kayak Fishfinder: Yay or Nay?
When I had my little 14' boat, I had sideview at the console, and downview at the bow. I fish mainly shallow, or heavy pad cover and really only used it for navigation and water temp. The only place I use electronics is at a local reservoir where I need to find drop offs, or structure, and I probably fish there a handful of times during the year. I probably didn't need any electronics to catch fish on that boat, along with the hassle of battery maintenance.

Looking For a Good Maintenance Free Trolling Battery
Sam's Club has a deal where you pay for the $40 annual membership deal, then they give you a $40 in-store gift card. They sell Duracell re-branded EastPenn AGM's, $180 before taxes for the BCI 31M deep cycle AGM, and every couple months they're $20 off. I bought 3 of them for my 36v trolling motor and so far they've given me more time on the water compared to the previous lead-acid wet cells I was using before. And since they're AGM, zero maintenance.

Maryland's Who's who!
Hit Mattawoman today, 9AM high tide so my plan was to get way back in the pads. Water was still muddy/stained, but temps were 78 on the main creek so I started with a toad hoping for some topwater action. No real sign of topwater so I switched to a keitech fat impact on a weedless underspin. That was the ticket, along with some cleaner water back in the pads along the grass edges. Landed two good largies, but missed about 4 fish, and then there wasn't enough water to stay back there and off the water by Noon.

Ultrex 36v 112 - Battery Run Time
I figured I was missing something. I was able to get out back on this lake last week, and I hit the spots I wanted to, and with a mix of reducing speed to #8 on the Ultrex dial, and using spot lock less, I was able to stay out on the lake without going below 50% (per the TM remote) for 7 hours. Thanks all for the feedback.

There should be an option to put it back to factory defaults, maybe try that.
