Hook keeper
I've been using these, and like them a lot better than the Fuji EZ keepers. The problem with the Fuji EZ keepers and similar knockoffs is that the swivel part is plastic and breaks easily, usually after 3-4 months of usage. These are pricey, but sturdy and the magnet gimmick is actually useful, it makes attaching the hook easier especially when you're on a moving boat or something. The hook is attracted to the magnet near the hole then it easily goes into the hook keeper hole. https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B07DRJ5QTC/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o04_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Senko arrogance...
I usually go straight bison, salt, pepper, and a slice of cold butter in the middle of the patty. If you want to get real fancy, you can dial up the butter by adding chives, garlic, etc. That'll give it plenty of moisture.

Worm rod
For $135 shipped, I would get the Powell Max 3D 723C: https://www.tacklewarehouse.com/catpage-POWELL.html?from=basres I have Zillions, Tatulas, and a Megabass EMTF. I also have a Powell 714 MHEF that's the closest in sensitivity to the EMTF. I really like the Zillions and Tatulas, but for moving baits, not bottom contact. They just feel a bit more muted than the EMTF and Powell.

Whole Foods does. I also have a local butcher that grounds it up when they can source it, but it's like $14/lb.

Senko arrogance...
Oh, I know it's out there, that's why it demands balance with a bacon cheese burger. I love me some bison burgers, but either I make my own, or go to some foo foo overpriced restaurant for those.

People interpret things differently....just ignore and move on.

I usually get the Hummus Tahina bowl, it's a cucumber tahini sauce.I try to limit myself to 1 hipster salad a week. On weekends, I balance the salad by getting a bacon cheese burger from Five Guys, all the way no mustard.

Good read while eating my overpriced salad from Sweet Green.

Got a new nice baitcaster. I hate it.
If I can do it, you can do it. I picked up a BC for the first time last year and got the hang of it in about a month. People will help you here. Braid is easier to pick out than the other stuff. Walk out 75-80 yards of line, then tape the spool so that the line won't come out any farther than that. This will help you reduce "birds nests". Answer some people's questions about line/reel model, lure you're throwing, etc and you'll get some solid advice.

Only one Curado DC in your arsenal, what technique do you use it on?
I use it for any technique other than pitching/flipping and lures under 1/4oz. It's ability to fix overruns really shines on long, full casts.

Spro rat 30
I got the 40, all my catches with it were on the pause after using it as a wake bait. I found that it would roll if I swam it too fast, so I put a swivel on it and that did the trick.

Black Friday sale list?
American Legacy Fishing had them for $99 in July for whatever they had in stock. Amazon has some of left, but also some of the new 2018s for less than MRSP (but they're backordered for *** months).

Black Friday sale list?
BF has historically been 20% off. Then there's the countdown to Christmas savings that goes through early January where everyday is a deal on something like Sunline, or Owner hooks.

Black Friday sale list?
How long is the Fury? I have a 7' Fenwick ML/F paired with a Cabela's Verano 2500 (rebranded Daiwa something) and it feels great. 20lb high-vis braid to mono leader. The Nasci is a very nice reel, but comparing reel sizes from one manufacturer to another is not apples to apples.

Black Friday sale list?
My experience was on the Shimano Curado DC. Shimano is listed as an exclusion, and in the shopping cart it was $249.99. I completed the online sale, and my email had it with 15% off during the 4th of July sale.

Black Friday sale list?
From my experience, the checkout cart may not reflect the discount, but when the email invoice comes through, the discount is applied. I think others have said a call to TW to place the order and they will also honor the discount, along with the stacking military discount. Last year's BF was 20% off. A few days after X-Mas they gave 15% off gift cards. If you're ultra thrifty, buy a big electronic gift card, then wait the following year to buy big ticket items. I bought a $500 GC last year, and it didn't last past 4th of July this year....which was 15% off.

Maryland's Who's who!
Last time I took the boat out was 9/16 at Mattawoman. Caught 1 SH and 1 LMB on a very flooded pad field area at high tide. Since then I've been bank fishing mostly at Widewater and Whetstone. Got a couple small dinks on a green pumpkin wacky senko at Widewater 9/30. Went to Whetstone on Sat 10/13, and caught 5 LMB, I started with a spinnerbait but that was no go, and then went more finesse with a white double tail GY grub with a 1/0 1/8oz Owner Flashy Swimmer. They really liked that and was hammering it casting 45 degrees from the bank. Winds picked up real heavy around 11AM and then I left. Water temps are dropping fast, and I think I'm going to do a lot of jerkbait/crankbait fishing at Widewater and the Tidal Basin. I may try my hand at some late fall fishing at Black Hills, not sure where to start though. My boat is stuck in my garage while we wrap up renovations...there's a big dumpster taking up our driveway at the moment. I put all my topwaters away for the season, sadly. Edit: I'm going camping at Greenbrier State Park 10/27 and plan to do some trout/bass fishing. If you're there let me know, I'll share some Laphroaig 10yr.

Best snakehead or big bass heavy rod (for me)
I can see some advantages of a 6' rod, and other advantages for 7' rods. If you're catching, that's all that matters. Tight lines!

Need help with arbor knot slipping on spinning reel...
Some spools have a little piece of rubber built in for braid. I’ve only seen it on spinning reels.

Inner city fishing with Ike
I have it set on the DVR, looking forward to watching his series!

Need help with arbor knot slipping on spinning reel...
With thin and slick braid line, sometimes I wrap the overhand knot through twice on the end of the line.

Maryland's Who's who!
If anyone is near Randallstown, Walmart has a Berkley Lightning Shock 6'6 M spinning rod for $9 pick up. https://www.walmart.com/ip/Berkley-Lightning-Rod-Shock-Spinning-Rod/20450246?wmlspartner=wlpa&selectedSellerId=0&wl13=3804&adid=22222222227015437188&wl0=&wl1=g&wl2=c&wl3=40969513232&wl4=pla-78912727832&wl5=9060606&wl6=&wl7=&wl8=&wl9=pla&wl10=8175035&wl11=local&wl12=20450246&wl13=3804&veh=sem&gclid=CjwKCAjwo_HdBRBjEiwAiPPXpNehPy--8B2H0yfDrnN79xZ9xZH5bWMkiwzDTrDBBdBYp4XTRPB1hxoCxbMQAvD_BwE If it was the 6' version I'd actually drive the 45 mins to go pick it up as a rod for my son.
