Black and Blue doesn’t work for me. When I first started jig fishing a few years ago, I would throw a Black and blue jig for at least an hour every week with no luck. A couple months later I decided to change colors and it was game on. Now a PB&J jig with a Green Pumpkin trailer is my best producer.

PB&J or Okeechobee 420 with a Green Pumpkin trailer. I do very well with these 2 colors. Never caught a bass with Black and Blue.

I didn’t purchase the rod from ALF. I just asked them what they would give me for it on trade in.

I paid $350 for a Megabass Orochi, used it only 2 times and decided I didn’t want it. Contacted ALF to see what they would give me on a trade in and they offered me $120 for it.

I don’t understand why the Zillions aren’t popular. I love mine, very light and sensitivity isn’t far behind my Steez rod. At least Daiwa didn’t raise the price on those.

I highly doubt it. They wouldn’t have raised the prices if that was the case. And they definitely wouldn’t replace a $670 rod with a $450 one.

Throw them in the trash

I love fishing in the rain. Been out many times during a downpour and the bite will be on fire.

I throw crankbaits a lot. A have some Rapala DT. Square bills are a mixture of Spro and 6th Sense. I fish the SPRO Little John a lot. The regular,MD and DD. I have a box of Rock Crawlers as well. For Lipless I like Bill Lewis.

No, caught my biggest bass 8.4 in August on a Texas rig worm. Caught a 6.3 in march one year. Most of the remaining big bass I’ve caught have been in the fall.

Same lb test and you can use Mono backing

I hit a nice buck last fall doing 70. He kept on going but I’m sure he died later. 6300 worth of damage to my truck. Most of it was to the passenger side doors because he rolled down the side of the truck.

I had 4 people in my 175 with 60hp once. Just riding around slowly and not fishing. Didn’t have a bit of trouble.

I switched from Gamakatsu EWGs to Owner offset shank worm hooks and my hookup ratio went way up.

I use MyRadar. It sends alerts for lightning

Been fishing my Tatula Elite and Steez hard for the past couple years and haven’t had a bit of trouble with the AGS guides. I don’t abuse my equipment but I don’t baby it either.

Definitely hardbaits. Some of my favorite crankbaits are up to $15 a piece now and a lot of days I’ll lose at least 2 of them.

Do you have the spool tension set to just a touch of side play?

I agree. Daiwa’s feel a lot better in my hands.

I’ve heard rumors about them going up. Now would be the time to buy if you want one before the stores raise the price.
