  1. Hello and welcome to the forum.
  2. I have been retired for eight years. I try to go fishing once a week. Stay home in the winter. I like fishing through the week and not having to fight the weekend crowd. The way this year is going to go I will be lucky if I get to fish much at all.
  3. Congratulations @12poundbass on your new title. With this new super power will you really be able to keep @slonezp in line? LOL.
  4. We better not hear any whining and crying that baits that have been used in Lake Menderchuck can't catch fish.
  5. Hello and welcome to the forum.
  6. Hello and welcome to the forum.
  7. I'm like @Bankbeater. I too have never been on Facebook and have no plans to ever be on it.
  8. I have to agree with @Bird. I have gone the other way using light weight finesse baits. Now I have a lot of finesse baits. I had never used a spinning rod until 20 years ago. I took me a long time to get used to it enough to be comfortable using it.
  9. Hello and welcome to the forum.
  10. Sorry to hear about your mom and uncle. Glad to know you are free of cancer. Hope things get better for you and you can get back to fishing.
  11. I am very technology challenged. If I try to post any pics it is on my desktop computer. I don't have any data time on my phone and I wouldn't know how to set it up and do all this stuff if I did. I will now go back in to my cave and see what happens next.
  12. I don't post any pics. Every time I try to post any picture it always the size is too big. I can't figure out how to get them sized right to post pics. Most of the fish I catch nobody wants to see anyway.
  13. I can probably go two years before I buy anything. Then it would just be line and hooks. As long as nothing else breaks I'm well stocked.
  14. Hello and welcome to the forum.
  15. I use 12# Sufix Siege for cranbaits, spinnerbaits, and topwaters. I use 12# Suline Super Florocarbon for Texas rigs and jigs. I have one setup with 50# Sufix 832 braid on it for frog fishing. I think I have used it once in two years. Spinning setups get 8# Sufix Siege for finesse fishing.
  16. Another vote for the baby brush hog. I don't use them much anymore but I have had some really good days with the super hog.
  17. Hello and welcome to the forum.
  18. I always fill our vehicles up when they get down close to half full. I have heard too many stories about fuel pump failure if you run them down too low since most fuel pumps are inside the gas tank now.
  19. It has been a long time since I threw a lizard. I'm planning to try them some this year. All of mine are Zoom lizards. I have 6" Junebug chartreuse, green pumpkin ,watermelon seed, and pumpkin chartreuse. I just ordered some in 4" to try when I am fishing where I can catch Smallmouth.

  22. I have some of the split tail Stikos. I have used them on a Ned rig but have not caught anything with them.
  23. Hello and welcome to the forum.
  24. Somebody has already run this on here a few days ago. You must have been asleep. LOL
  25. Have never tried coffee and don't plan to start now.
