What depth? How clear is water? Sharp or round rocks?

Toledo bend
There’s few folks who’ve mastered Livescope at an incredible level and they are doing very well in the bass and crappie game. I’m sure Randy will have a new video out by midnight.

Interesting observation on reel sales
I will give Shimano a huge nod in the parts department. They have an incredible parts list that makes it stupid easy to purchase what you need.

Interesting observation on reel sales
My opinion. The race to make the lightest reel has had a negative effect on quality. Todays reels may cast light baits further and require less angler ability but the reels of the 2000s that weighed 8-9 ounces were a better product in my opinion. I could go years without servicing those reels and now I’m taking reels apart several times a year.

What year is this Daiwa, we’re they any good?
I would assume early 80s

Interesting observation on reel sales
Saw one of those YT channels had a Doyo Liger 30 which is identical to Lews skipping reel

Recommend an all purpose casting rod on the lighter side.

Ott’s Garage OT vs Frittside
Both are fine but I prefer the Little John if I can get away with it. Hunts and comes through cover better. It’s also 10x better caster. Chick magnet is another great flat sided option.

Sent wrong rod. Keep it?
Half of that rod is like $30? At that price just keep it or give it to a kid.

I went into a BassProShop yesterday.
My only real complaint about BPS fishing section is the way it is ordered by bait style and not brand. You can find zoom plastics on 5 different isles.

St Croix LTB
St croix makes a beautiful rod but I’ve sold all 4 or 5 I’ve owned. I have found other rods that fit me better for the price. But I always want to try more just because of their fit and finish.

What do you all use for buzz bait storage
I bought a bass pro binder with ziploc sleeves in it. I think it’s meant for plastics but I use it for spinner baits and buzz baits. Works great. Doesn’t take up much room and doesn’t bend wires

Falcon Expert All Around
The Expert models are great. They have a great bend to them and are built well. I have a few that have been absolutely abused for 2-3 years now.

Abu Garcia Zata Combo
Shimano and Daiwa use composite frames in several of their flagship models including Metanium and Steez
-
Abu Garcia Zata Combo
Stewart’s discount fishing has the Zata for $119. Chris is a great guy to do business with. As far as the reel or rod goes I know nothing. Seems like it should weigh less for a graphite frame

Daiwa reels
If you’re on a budget - Tatula 100 If not on a budget - Zillion Sv or Tatula Elite If wanting a smaller profile - Alphas If you’re a baller - Steez

Is rod/reel aesthetics super important to you?
I’m not fishing a white, orange, green, etc rod. Other than that I couldnt care less.

New grill..
I have a Weber kettle and Weber gas hooked straight into the houses natural gas line. A perfect combo for correct grilling and lazy grilling. A kettle can do it all.

have you ever wondered why?
Because Timmy spooled up and walked down to his farm pond for 30 minutes and caught 8 fish. This stuff is the greatest!
- Why 9" or 10" ?

Shipping From T/W
I feel confident 99% of members here would have been fine keeping another frog in their tackle box. Someone introduce this man to the monkey.

Shimano SLX or Lews Speed Spool LFS
Lews has magnetic brakes and slx has centrifugal. Pick whichever brake system you prefer. Both great.
