How would you rank these higher end rods?
Seems like you are a prime candidate for a nice custom build.

Swim jigs
Trailer is a must. Typically I opt for either a paddletail or craw. More action the better whether it be from bouncing off or going through cover or by shaking the rod tip. Swim jigs really shine for me around pads and grass. Typically I will opt for a spinnerbait around timber.

Bought nib curado 200 today 50.00
Everyone has google. If a seller can’t take 30 seconds to see what an item is selling for on eBay then I don’t feel bad for them.

Reels Depreciating in value
I have a Lews MB and LFS that I need to sell. I’d be lucky to get $150 for both but honestly they perform way above that price point. I almost just want to buy 2 more rods lol

20 lb vs. 30 lb Braid for Baitcaster
Only way to know is to try it. I wanted to like braid but it just didn’t work for me. After 3 months I trashed it all except for the frog rod. I have that same rod in the LTB series and it has a really fast tip. If you do put braid on it just be mindful there will not be much forgiveness on hooksets. Personally I use 10lb Invisx flouro. It’s very manageable, sensitive, and has the perfect amount of stretch

New tatula sv?
I have one and have fished it a couple hours and caught 5-7 fish. Other than the profile there’s not much noticeable difference although I will say the new model I have seems to cast a tad further but also feels like it’s built “looser”. Previous model feels more solid but they fish pretty much identical to me. Which to me is not a bad thing

Best use for 6'8" med/XF casting rod?
I have the same rod in the LTB series. It’s main use in my arsenal is jerkbaits. I also really like it for shaky heads.

The latest sale thread
Saw where if you spend $1675 at kistler you get half off. So I guess that’s 4 ZBones for about $200 each

Awww man
Had a treble go through my middle finger in 2001 while unhooking a 4 pounder. It was in my nail bed and urgent care had to perform surgery. Since then I’ve been OCD and always use pliers when dealing with trebles. Closest call since then was a jerkbait hit me in the calf going 100 mph but didn’t go past the barb. Drew blood though

2020 NCAA Football Season Update
The majority of athletic departments are going to be in a bad situation financially if a “normal” football season is not played. 75% of revenue or more comes from ticket sales and concessions. Without that revenue smaller sports such as softball, track, soccer, etc will not have the funding to operate

Daiwa vs Shimano casting reels
Casting distance is just a piece of the puzzle. My longest caster is also my least favorite. I currently have 4 Diawa’s, Chronarch, 2 Lew’s, and a Revo in my main lineup. They all have pros and cons. The SV’s are fantastic at throwing plastics but aren’t “tight”. The CT frames are bullet proof but kind of big. The Chronarch is effortless and accurate but not a long caster or quiet. The Lews are work horses but can be temperamental for no reason. The Abu casts anything a mile but isn’t refined and the ergo dynamics are average. If I had to pick one to do it all it would be one of the Tatulas
