Can’t say as I remember. I’ve never done it on purpose. But might try it sometime.
  2. Personally I don’t add scent to plastics. They smell nasty enough when they come out of the mold but the fish don’t seem to care and I don’t have some oily gunk to wipe on my pant legs.
  3. If you want comfortable seats take a look at Millenium. I just bought 2 for my boat. My back has hurt when fishing for many years. It doesn’t when I use these.
  4. Winter is not when I go finesse. I like 1/2oz black living rubber with a large black beaver. I do the fluffy collar jigs in the summer.
  5. I have no experience with them but I keep lidocane on the bathroom counter all the time.
  6. We have people on most busy corners in Springfield. My grandson is a corporal on the police force there. He was talking to a guy on a corner in his area. He isn’t a vet or homeless . Come to find out the guy only lives a few blocks away and makes $60,000 tax free on that corner.
  7. We got it yesterday. We have icy roads and a couple of hundred schools closed. Another round is coming through MO before it heads your way. It may be gone by the weekend with temperatures warm enough for fishing.
  8. Was there a football game yesterday?
  9. What are you looking for? There is a MO dealer who usually beats everyone. Some drive from the coast because of what they can save.
  10. There could be a malfunctioning micro switch. It’s probably a $10-15 cure.
  11. Ideally a one boat network is the way to go. I suggest that you take your time and research gps/depth finder units and trolling motors to see which have your stated options and what the prices are.
  12. 100 mph gortex will get the job done.
  13. Congrats on your find. One of the area boat dealers sponsors on in the winter. It is a pretty big deal.
  14. The best way I have found is to put a shield over the gutter to keep gunk out.
  15. The length of the cast, speed of the retrieve and blade configuration not the weight of the bait will determine how long it stays in the zone. I’ve fished 1/4 oz single spins at 30’ with no issues.
  16. I was having trouble with 6# fluorocarbon rotting. Roadwarrior put me on to Yozuri. I’m running it on 5 setups and really liking it.
  17. You have to take into consideration where you are fishing and how you are fishing it. If you are casting towards a bank and reeling back it won’t be very deep. If you are in deep water and fishing parallel you can cast it out, let it sink to the desired depth and slow roll it back quite a ways maintaining the desired depth. That will take some experimenting to see how fast it sinks unless you want it on the bottom.
  18. I fish them all year long.
  19. You bet. Plus where I fish on the upper James River on Table Rock lake there is so much sunken stuff that it takes a lot of baits every trip.
  20. Well I know a guy who knows a guy who has a Zman contact and got them for me for $2.00 per pack. I couldn’t resist it.
  21. I have to have a separate one because of my Ulterra trolling motor. It is kind of a pain.
  22. As far as elaztech goes it might be me. I bought 65 packs of ZinkerZs this fall to go along with the 50 packs I already had.
  23. Upper belly
  24. Charlie Campbell, Dean Byrum, Steve Holland were all local fishermen a couple of them guides. All could do wonders with a Zara Spook.
  25. I hope that they have improved. When I was looking for some I tried everything that BPS carried. None of them were consistent so I ponyed up and bought Boga Grips.
