I am more confident with a baitcaster. Catching them on light line with a spinning reel squealing is more fun though.

I saw a dude fill a bottle with lake water and start drinking it before a human told him to look to his right. There was a drunk guy ticking in the lake not twenty feet from him. Laughter ensued by all of the dock dwellers.

I use spoons a lot. Spoons are fun, but they don’t have the highest land rate.

Yep. I have a 9.9 hp Johnson that’ll make that baby boogie. If you’re planning on using it on a big lake a 2.5 would be frustrating, but for ponds and small backwater it’s the berries.

It is nice not having to lug a battery or an external gas tank. Mine’s a four stroke so I ain’t even got to remember oil.

I normally use a light wire 1/0 offset worm hook and a purple Zoom finesse worm. This technique catches a lot of fish.
