Curious how many if given the chance (weather permitting this time of year) would go fishing instead of watching the game. I guess you could record game and hope no-one would tell you the outcome so you could go home afterwards and watch the recording.

Personally I'm a Hawks fan and have been for years and would love to watch the game but given the chance would have to go fishing and then watch recording. I've had to many days these last six months in a chair or on a couch...besides I love the floor show in the great outdoors just a tad better. (not to mention the fact fishings been great around here lately too.

Fishing! Unless my team was in the superbowl then again I think I would pick fishing.

Maybe some ice fishng in the morning/afternoon before the game, but by the time the game comes on it will be after dark here, and I'll be off the ice.

No question about that for me:I would go fishing! There is no broadcast sporting event that would keep me from fishing this time of year. I might record the event if a team or player l like was involved, but fishing would get the call every time.

Superbowl. It only comes once a year and usually it's an event to watch with friends and family.

^Exactly^..........A one time a year event compared to something I do every day, no contest.

I don´t have a "favorite" team, I´m not a "fan" of any team in particular I liked the Oilers when Campbell played for them, I liked the Steelers when Harris, Swann, Stalworth, Blair and Bradshaw played, the era of the Steel Curtain ( and the "Immaculate Reception" ), I liked the Raiders, nowdays I don´t care much.

 

However, it´s not because of the teams that play, it has become a tradition for me and my compadre to share a BBQ with the family, have a few beers and watch the game, so, between fishing and watching the Super Bowl it´s watching the SB, in practical terms I can go fishing any time.

Same here. We always host a SB party at our house for family and a few friends. Besides, can't fish my waters after sundown, so there's only one choice for me.

Fishing if I had a nighttime boat. Waters are dark and cold at 630 this time of year here, but nothing I haven't braved before.

above Christmas and the Fourth of July, regardless of who's playing.

Pull a heavy laden sled a mile or two, set up the shelter, drill a hole in the ice, or stay home, build a fire, and watch the game.  Choice is simple.

Since I'm not fishing this time of year, I'll watch the game, maybe.

SuperBowl without a doubt. I haven't missed on that i can remember and I don't plan to.  I usually don't have a party but i end up cooking up a ton of food for some reason.  Speaking of which, i need to start thinking about the menu
