So this happened. Loaded up on the TG Jack Hammera. Big shoutout to Havok Custom Lures!!! Unbelieveable craftsmanship, and incredible guy. Pictures so not do justice.

Where are you getting the TG jack hammers? I really would like to try some but I haven't found them available from a reliable site.

What’s the difference between the normal Jackhammer and the TG?

The TGs are tungsten.

I would like to know this as well. Need the black one pretty bad ?

What is the advantage of them?  Heavier weight in a smaller size?

They are more awesomer. Or maybe it is they are the awesomeist. I mix those two up all the time.

For real though, I couldn't say as my order from Japan was cancelled due to importation rules with some US company having the sales rights to Jackhammers.

I have seen pictures and they sure don't look much smaller then the normal ones.

Only reason I was ordering them was because from Japan they were about 30% or more less then the normal Jackhammers here in the US.

New jig setup. Scorpion 70XG mounted on a 7'2 H Expride spooled up with 16lb Sniper. There is a new handle and knobs on the way for the Scorpion. Feels pretty good, can't wait to get it on the water.

So kick butt story. A while back I was looking up Neons and I saw a Miller branded bass fishing one and was bummed my Dad didn’t have one, used to be a Miller distributor. We dropped off groceries today, we shop for them so they don’t need to go out and be exposed, and look what I found that has been sitting there for 23 years. Will be a nice addition to the man cave!

If you happen to follow me on Twitter you will see a short video soon, the bass and water around it blink on and off.

I use O-rings religiously on WR but I do not need a tool. Starting at the pointy end they seem to slide on without much difficulty. Not that $5.49 is $$$, but is it necessary?

Necessary? Not at all, but many days I have an hour or maybe 45 minutes to fish, $5 is a pretty affordable way to make sure I am spending as much time as possible fishing rather than rigging

Just got my TW order I placed 5 days ago. One pack each of 5” watermelon/orange-red copper fk and electric blue Senkos, Mann’s 9” Jelly Worm in blackberry and some 1/4” tungsten bullet weights.

I'm not a shimano guy. But that is one sexy set up!  I love the combination of that reel, that 7'2H rod, and that line.. gonna be a jig slinging lip ripper for sure!

Great minds must think alike! Other than the fact this is a Curado K I have the EXACT same set up for jig fishing.

Went to visit my mother and step father over in Up state New York for the week end. My step father came across his dads tackle and gave it to me. Now his dad passed  22 years ago. Lots of really cool stuff. Everything is 22 years old or older.

What is crazy is that Rapala basically has the same box for their lures over many years. I bought a bunch of old ones at an auction and the same box as now. Have one or two really old that are a box with the same color i think, but different graphics. Their marketing team is either lazy, or genius. Guessing the brand recognition is so strong they might lose that on a display rack if they altered the colors.

That is a great get. Now the question is how many of those will see water?

How much will see water. That ? Has been running through my mind since I got home. The opened stuff in the box will see water. The unopened I’m not sure.

Well I told myself I needed a couple lipless crankbaits and placed an order Sunday night, just got it today. Also ordered a st croix bass x 7’2” mh moderate straight from st croix, been curious about that rod for awhile and I needed a squarebill/lipless rod. That rod will get the extra curado Dc I have sitting in my garage. Might need to go to bait monkey anonymous, bait monkey took over hardcore after I put those first couple red eye shads in my cart.

Ordered a big bunch of tungsten weights from omfishingsinkers last week.  Was pretty excited to receive them today.  OMFS usually takes 5 or 6 weeks to ship.  Figured they must be using a US distributor now.   I checked my emails and found that I'd ordered some on July 12....forgot about it and ordered again last week....Oh well...I have been going through them pretty fast, anyway...lol

Just picked up a Daiwa Aird X AIRX661MFB rod for $49.99.

I ordered from them for the first time before a trip where I was going to be doing a lot of drop shotting. Says 9-11 business days but, gave myself 3 weeks time. Didn't get them in time which sucked, but they gave me a little discount since they changed the time frame they provided 3 times. It took 5-6 weeks in the past? With the pandemic and slow shipping they said the time was more 20ish business days or 4 weeks.

Came home to the package, was pretty happy with the stuff. Will def order from again just way in advance haha

You ever use any of there stuff with Hooks? Like the swinging football head? Hooks look decent and have nice little protectors on them as well. The scrounger heads have HUGE bills lol like double the size of the ones I had.
