Busted my Pflueger Supreme XT last week. I actually decided to downgrade and I think I’ll be okay with that decision! My President XT came in today and I got to say I’m impressed. 80$ less than my supreme xt and it feels just as great out of the box. Sure the drag isn’t as smooth but for the price I paid I’m very happy. I especially like how light the reel is and it’s what drove me to choose it over other similar reels like a Sedona or the regular President. Gonna test it out tomorrow morning on some shallow water largies. 
 

Anyone have any experience with this reel? I’ve heard that the knob on the handle is prone to falling off. Any truth? 

I was told some of my fishing woes were my hat...so I got a new one that hopefully has good juju.

Have heard good things about these baits. It does look sweet in the water, especially for the price.

Helped my buddy recover his that he lost in a bush a week ago. It looked nice and he was raving about the glide being almost like a 250. He wasn't wrong, for a smaller bait, it has a really wide glide and does it easily and the price is just stupid for a hard swimbait.

I also got a speed wake and a Vega frog. Tested them out last night, speed wake I noticed you have to raise your rod tip to get that good v pattern wake. Medium retrieve seemed best. No bites. Vega frog seemed fairly easy to walk/pop. Good spit sound. Pulled it across a laydown, and got one to blow up on it. Only strike I had in my hour of fishing. It was fun though.

Nothing fun in this haul. Was running low on hooks and stick baits. Had a couple gift cards so grabbed a few more things.

You right, it’s all fun. 

I plan on fishing into November this  year. Usually I would have stopped buying tackle a month ago.  So it’s either keeping the ball rolling or stocking up for next year .  Oh I just won a 3 piece lot of lucky craft 110 pointers on eBay For 18 bucks  .
 

 In this photo everything thing cane from eBay stores.  3 packs of rage menaces in black/blue flak, summer craw, and kvd magic, 2 kvd square bills in Chrome sxy shad and brown craw, and a white terminator stainless spinner bait to try out. 

I got a new rod about two weeks ago and a reel about a week ago. The rod is a Conquest 843c and the reel is a Metanium B. I bought the Metanium for the Conquest, but decided it looked better on the Xtasy, while the Tatula SV looked better on the Conquest. When I did have the Metanium on the Conquest, it weighed 9.9 oz.
