Made a tackle Warehouse order. You can no longer pick the faster shipping. Bummer.

Very true. I recently placed an order that GSO delivers in a couple of days. It took a week to arrive and I’m a few hours drive time north of San Luis Obispo. I think with the Covid-19 situation TW may have cut back operations a bit possibly to benefit their employees health. Even better news is TW is still open and shipping tackle to feed the monkey and to those lucky enough to go fish?

No doubt, I’m glad there still open. I guess I’ll have to feed the monkey from Walmart till then.

Came in today.  I like the small size. Now to spool it up andslide one on one of my existing rods and take the kids down to the river and try it out.  Will report back later.   So far, I think I got a steal for 55 bucks each.

not sure how people are getting shellcrackers. the product website doesnt work and the company doesnt respond to inquiry. are you getting them on ebay? nothing worse than wanting to give a business support and no way to reach them.

Getting in on the Spro Rat game!  Oh, and a shine glide and sebile swimmer!

I tried to buy some on their site and it wouldn't take my order because it was shipping to Canada. I messaged them on Instagram and said what's up. 2 weeks later I finally got an invoice (through PP) and 4 days later I had my baits.

I was hella persistent - I think they're overwhelmed or are very lackadaisy. Good luck!

Origin C was a success. Spoiled one up with 12 lb floro, and paired it up with an old 703 endurance rod and made a ton of casts throwing a Kietech on a 1/4 and ounce head and then 3/8 Spinnerbait.    It casted really well, retrieve was smooth.  Still needs some breaking in time. Caught 2 strippers that were over a couple lbs each.   I definitely can't base.a.review off of two hours but, that all I need to say I was fairly impressed.  No complaints over the drag or breaks.  Drag was smooth.  Was able to turn the breaks down to 3 after first hour pr.so if getting used to it.   Even at full price it's a good reel.  I had a second rod an endurance 724 with a Lews Tp throwing same baits and I didn't see a huge drop off in performance by the Origin c.

Oh yeah. I have several of them and a few of the max rods.

The stripers are running right now. Fun to catch.  I was hope for a green fish, but that's what I caught.

Years from now covid 19 documentaries will state how Jim Sutter and his accomplice Bait Monkey Johnson saved both the economies of U.S. And Japan via online fishing lure orders...

Walked the frosty bank this am just before daylight threw the Spro Rat 40 in Morning Dawn, liked it so well I just ordered a size 30 in Grey Ghost! That and a pack of Senkos and the monkey said I was ok for the week... And no I didn't catch a single fish though I threw ratty for over 2 hours. Looks great though, it'll happen....

Glad to see XZone is getting some traction. They have a really good lineup and the action on those Swammers is insane!

Liking what I’m seeing so far!

Got my new Sedona to replace the one I broke. Already regretting it and punching myself for not upgrading. It was on sale though, so no worries ?

Also, does anyone have experience with yo-zuri braid and fluorocarbon? Thoughts? I picked some up because of the reduced price. Just gonna use the fluoro as leader for. They feel good in the hands but I know that means nothing.

If I remember correctly they went out of business a few years back and someone else bought them and brought them back. I know a guy that was sponsored by them and now throws Anglers Choice bait, another good Canadian soft bait company.

Xzone was sold to an American company a couple of years ago. Same with Freedom Tackle, the owner's brother owns Set The Hook plastics which I see in ma n pa shops alot but I've never tried them out due to personal preferences.

Anglers choice is pretty decent too. I like their Killshot but the other baits are pretty lackluster.

The only thing I heard about their baits was that the durability isn’t great. Their dropshot Drifter looks ok but after 1 fish it gets trashed. That’s what I’ve been told at least.

sounds like a keitech swimbait. they have a pretty good reputation regardless of the durability ?‍♂️

They were bought by VRX fishing products, same company that makes the rod glove. I think they are based out of Ontario.

I really like the original wart hawg as a ned bait. skinnier than other stick baits commonly thrown on a Ned head. That is the only way I have ever fished the Wart Hawg.
