Just wanted to drop in and say hi to you all. I'm not as active 'round these parts anymore. Haven't bought anything in about 5 month. Haven't had the boat out in almost 5 months. Really sucks, but it'

For as long as I can remember TW and almost everyone else excludes Megabass, but one company that still includes them is Kittery Trading Post. I have been able to get a few MB baits through TW's site with the discount in the past (e.g., certain colors/sizes), but I do not know if that was an accident on their part or if they just leave a few things unprotected for those willing to put in the time to find them.

I was ready to buy when I saw the price, but I am too big for the sizes they have left.

Hey guys. I'm looking to buy some Simm's Challenger bibs and jacket (non-insulated) in the black color. Right now I'm seeing the bibs online for 20% off.

With Black Friday coming (or even sooner), I'd appreciate it if anyone could give me a heads-up if they happen upon a better deal somewhere. Thanks!

Glenn seems to not be a fan of TW. I am joining his side, except for Black Friday and the 25 days sales where I have scored some great deals.

Awesome, thanks! Have you ordered from these guys before?

I haven't but I would.

I hope you guys know I'm yanking your chain.  That question seems to come up every week or so.  :)

That and if “Megabass is included” should be its own sticky. Haha

Is Megabass the brand that caused my credit card to spontaneously combust when it saw the prices when I tried to put them in my cart?

Megabass is the brand I have in my cart for the next TW sale!  Not sure when that is though...?

Not sure how good these suits are, but that's one hell of a deal! Also, you get a free Huk gaiter when you spend over $75.

I have no personal experience, but I know people who have been very disappointed by Huk's rain gear in both durability and how good they repel water. Their high end suits tend to fall apart thus causing them to leak. They don't have a great reputation at this point among tournament anglers who are hard on their gear.

Simms, Gill, StormR, and Blackfish seem to make the best stuff.

I picked up and wore the packable rain jacket and pants during the Mexico adventure in October.  Rained hard 2nd and 3rd day of the trip. Kept me dry so I'm glad I had them.

I don't have any personal experience. I ordered the NXTLV bibs last year. They seemed nice but I sent them back because they didn't fit well. My hesitation would be the waterproof rating for their high end stuff. A $380 jacket should have a higher rating than 15k/15k.  At 40% off, I imagine it's a much better value. Their stuff definitely looks cool though.

I have nothing but personal experience with HUK fishing apparel including several sets of rain jackets & bibbs.  I have seen none of the negative characteristics you listed.

I will admit that I do take care of and maintain my gear in a manner that promotes both durability and water repelancy.
