I usually don't see anything I like during the TW Classic sale, but this time around my favorite underspin was on sale, the Coolbaits Down Under.

You have issues with the blade getting fouled up on the swimbait because it doesn't hand low enough? I've read a few reviews stating this. What swimbaits do you use on these? Thanks.

I can see that being a problem if the plastic used is bulky, like a Keitech Fat Impact Swing. I only have the 1/0 and 2/0 sizes and they work terrific with GY 3" single tail grubs, and Keitech Easy Shiners. The Coolbaits Down Under is like my ned rig of underspins, it just flat out catches numbers.

i don't know if all academy sports are doing it but i went to my local academy yesterday and got 2 gloomis e6x rods a spinning 842s sjr and casting 853c jwr for 100$ each they said all the e6x rods were on sale sadly they only had 2 left worth a shot to go to your local academy and ask someone how much they are they didn't have a closeout sale post or anything anywhere but said they were having a closeout sale worth a shot if your looking for some new rods hit up your local academy and ask they are not showing on sale on there website

anyone know of a Grainger.com code? looking to make a big order want to save money

13 Fishing Fate Black 7'1 Medium Heavy Power / Fast Action Rod on sale for $39.99 at Tackle Direct.

Shipping is $8.00 for a oversize package, but somehow they didn't charge me for the shipping after my cart expired and I added it back in.

I bought two for a total of $79.98 including shipping. I'm thinking of giving one to a kid that I always see fishing who got a new Cadence rod for his birthday, but had the inserts fall out right away and the company wouldn't take care of it, leaving him highly disappointed. All the kid does is fish and rides his bike loaded down with tackle, long distances to fish all over the City. I do throw his bike in the back of my truck and give him a ride whenever I see him and have even taken him kayak fishing with me a couple times, but this rod would make his summer.

Also, Pflueger President Spinning Fishing Reel Size 20 for $37.56, not sure how good of a deal that is but looked decent.

Maybe there is an obvious reason that I am unaware of but why will they not ship to Cali?

This is true, almost everything is. What if they're right?

I've been saying this for years - "The way things are going, eventually even purified water will be claimed to cause cancer."

Long ago cancer was a lot rarer than it is now. Granted people didn't live as long and cancer is primarily a disease that is more prevalent with age but it's the environment that triggers it.
