I use this same rod for ned rigs.  Works very well with the exception of casting distance for very light ned rigs.  Now I get why some people use such long rods.  

It also makes a great dropshot rod though.

Well...after adding $400 worth of crap to my cart, then spending the last hour cutting it down to the "essentials," my wallet took a minor $165 hit.  Some incredible deals on there!

More of a bad news update to this thread... just called Tackle Warehouse and they confirmed they're not going to have a 4th of July sale. Crazy no Memorial Day, Father's Day (10% off gift cards), or July 4th sale from them when everyone else still seems to be having theirs.

They sure are! I have spent more then I should probably admit in the last few months. Normally all of that would be going to TW, but with no sales and 14 day shipping delay I have been finding may other sources (including MidwayUSA from the tip above!)

No sales and 14 day processing means they already have more business than they are setup to handle and/or their supply lines can fulfill. 
 

I manage a business in a similar situation, and having a sale is the furthest thing from our minds (or anyone else’s in our industry).

They are operating at their limit, no foot shooting going on. I commend them for working how they feel safe, and doing it correctly. California is peaking with Covid now, they should be working to protect their workers and customers, not saving people 10%.
