I really doubt they are shooting themselves in the foot.  It would not be wise of them to hold sales like they usually do if they don't have the product and they don't have the staff to handle an already increased work load.  People are already complaining that their stock is down and their shipping is slow right now, could you imagine if they had a big sale on top of that.  Having the sale when they can not handle it would be shooting themselves in the foot.  They'll be just fine.

Sounds very familiar.  I did the rod air spinning rod and loaded the cart then backed some some stuff out.   Still took me for $308.   Great deals though.  Wow!

I just checked Midway again, still a bunch of great deals on there.   I need to stay away.  I could easily add $50 more and get free shipping..................that’s how the last bait monkey spanking started at this site.

We're going to have to start an unofficial club for people who "Didn't need another rod, but can't pass up a great deal."

 

I was a little worried that the deal was too good to be true, and that my order would get canceled and refunded, but I already got the shipping notification!  It says that rod will be here by next Thursday.

I am still on the search for the perfect spinning rod for my Lew’s Speed Spin Father’s Day gift. I pulled the trigger on the Irod Fiber finesse 7’ Medium spinning rod. Couldn’t pass it up for $62, down from $100 

 

I have no experience with Irod products but it got good reviews and the specs are right what I am looking for.

$20 OFF DAIWA TATULA CT’s at discount tackle. Still have both left and right hand models in several gear ratios.

Yes it was. I got it for $80, couldn't pass it up.

Well...maybe next time I'll just mail you $85.  Seriously though, thanks for the tip.  I just stocked up on ZinkerZ's for less than half price.  Unbelievable.

Bummer. That was the only rod I really wanted lol but settled for 3 others. That was a killer sell.

I received one of my 2 rods today, in a very bent and damaged tube. I have no idea where the other rod is as the tracking info doesnt work. No one is there to answer phone calls, the live chat never works and havent received a reply to any of my emails.......

Same. I put an order for plastics that I got in a few days. And put an order in for a rip rap special rod the day after. No tracking, no email or live chat to help. Was impressed at first now not so much.

Rods showed up on time and the tubes were in perfect condition. 

This was my rod tube from the Midway sale.  It was busted up in the middle and barely intact.  Somehow the rod was okay though....for now.

I am waiting on a new spinning reel to come in from Japan and was needing some line.  I fished with a guy today that uses Sunline Xplasma Braid and he loves this stuff.  I had never seen it before and I have been one to stay clear of braid on spinning gear.  But when I found a 600 yard spool of 16lb on Amazon for $44.00 instead of $76 at Tackle Warehouse, I thought> it will last me forever and I can't beat the price.   We will see how it goes.
