but miraculously the rod seems to be fine, Midway has used USPS to ship me rods and every time the tube comes broken in the middle, this was the first time the rod survived. Midway definitely has some good sales and super fast shipping, I seem to have bad luck with the delivery process.

Great news, but yes I agree.  If you can break a sturdy tube like that, there's definitely something wrong with the delivery process, possibly with the local offices, given the fact that not many other Midway shoppers experienced the same.

I had another company use the same carrier and when I got it, the tube and rod were broke.  It looked to me like they tried to use a conveyor belt to move the tube when it should have been hand carried.

 

In my situation I provided photos and they sent me all the return shipping info.  They had another one on the way before I even made it to the Post Office.  Hope your experience is similar and this is but a minor bump in the road.

Yeah I purchased a couple on Sportsman Outfitters also to save a few bucks plus I had a extra $10.00 discount on top of that.

Well I guess if Sportsman's runs out of stock someone could still buy from FX or if they want any other merch?

Honestly couldn't tell you. I had the original pilot bibs and jacket but returned them because of the fit. I can tell you that they felt pretty high quality. If I didn't already have 3 pairs of bibs, I'd definitely give these a try at $100.

I have the co pilot bibs, they are a step below the ones on sale here.  Mine kept me plenty warm here this fall, so I am betting the ones on sale would be just fine, especially for that price!  They are originally $300!
