Yes, and not even close. I’ve used the new and old AGS rods for years.

I have the Steez Finesse Game Special spinning rod, I have put a good amount of hours and a few 4lb+ bass on it. I banged it into my co anglers rod once during a cast, it was a decent impact in my opinion, including that minor collision,  I have not had any issues with the guides during my time with it. I have a ML Rebellion  spinning rod that I actually favor over it when it comes to neko rigs and shakey heads. 

Seems most of the Tat Elite models are sold out now. Maybe 2 or 3 left.

Sometimes they have BOGO sales on lures, and mega bass is included. I can specifically recall this more than once with them in the past, although I can’t remember when. Definitely pre pandemic.
