Although I’ve transitioned toward buying higher end gear I’m still a sucker for cheap combos.

 

 

Abu Vengeance combo prespooled with some form of Berkley 14lb line and 2 Squarebulls for $40 at Walmart.. second time buying this gear on markdown, use the first combo all the time.

 

 They had about a dozen left but several were destroyed in various ways.

Here in PA, my friend got one for $20.  What a heck of a deal for something to keep in the truck/car.

Where are they coming from? The delivery date is March 4th or 5th.

Thats a great question. 

Admittedly, I saw the deal and immediately purchased 2 (30) packs.

I won't have the desire to use them for a few months so I can wait on the arrival date.

I hope that nothing goes wrong with the transaction however.

If they were $20 I’d have bought 2 more. I mean the squarebulls retail at $8.99 each. I fished this same combo from Sept through Nov just about everyday and a few days a week since.. it’s a real value  at $40 or less… even the $75 retail is probably okay, but I wouldn’t buy it at that.

Smith Longfin sunglasses with polarized chromapop lenses- available in both brown and copper lens for $60 which is crazy cheap considering they’re usually like $180 and worth it even at full price.  I picked up a pair in polarized chromapop brown, my absolute favorite lens.

That tail on the dingers may make a good trailer on my jigs or chatter baits. No matter it was too good of a deal to pass up.

Hahaa, unless you're a Googan Baits fan, you aren't really missing anything. Tho BOGO Bait Fuel is enticing. I'd stock up but not sure what the shelf life is on that stuff.

Lol, I lied....I looked after posting.

 

Not sure why I won't look at Googan Baits, but when I first started back fishing all I read was how annoying the brand was.

I will fish their Rattlin Ned in dirty water, but have never tried any of the other stuff and don't foresee myself ever doing so.
