They were $1.65 per pair.  I got 4 pairs for about $7

Academy Sports fans... it is almost time for the annual clearance.  Everything will sit on clearance at a small discount from regular price - maybe 10% to 30% off. During the initial markdown, not much sells.

 

Then, suddenly, everything is marked down to a fraction of that price... .

 

I am pretty sure the final drop happens nationwide.

 

When someone comes upon the big clearance price drop... please post it!

They need to open a few in Michigan and by Michigan I don’t mean all by Detroit. I always see guys posting crazy good deals they find from Academy.

I agree.  I wish there some in Minnesota too.  The website makes me so mad I don’t really look anymore.   When I see something I want on sale, it usually says, not available to ship.  After a couple of those attempts, I close the tab and end it. I am happy for those that get to shop those deals.  Go get em boys and girls!

Yeah the sales can be amazing, but I’ve had those painful issues with the website too.

 

To clarify, the crazy sales aren’t on yet!

they are easy to miss if you don’t time it right, so this is the reason for the request.

I haven't noticed that so much on Academy as I have on Sportsmans Warehouse.

 

They do offer crazy sales if you catch them right though! I got a pair of Revo Winch reels for $79 each one time, and also got some Revo STX for the same $79 each when they cleared out the Revo3 generation for the Revo4 generatiion.

My Academy had a huge section of clearance tackle.   Nothing crazy, most stuff was 20-25% off.

 

They've had those Yum Flash Mob Jr. kits for $12.97 which is a crazy good deal.

No. As of this morning they had some regular rods/reels and some baits. And some apparel. They had some Omen Black 3's in casting and spinning. I own the 6'10 ML spinning and it's a great rod at it's price point ($120). Even better at $72.

I appreciate the quick response??. As of now I don’t really need another rod although I’ve got my sites set on another light powered rod ?.  I have a fate black medium light and I love it. I know there are a few guys including @bulldog1935 who speak highly of the blanks so I thought I’d take a look. Now I’m having FOMO?. Thanks again ?
