I got the email but I am tapped out on rods for this year (maybe). I'm still waiting to get a couple of reels.  It is the best deal I have seen in a long time on St. Croix rods though. 

 

Are you going to pick any up?

yeah I dont really need more rods but it's almost too good to pass up.  a lot is out of stock already so need to decide quickly

I noticed. One rod I played with when it came out that has always interested me, is the 7'3'' St. Croix Legend Xtreme ML Spinning. The handle is short and the tip is soft. It would be great for hair jigs. It was out of course.

that's a little rich for my blood.  my favorite right now is the victory 73mxf.

There is not much left at all.  I just ordered two panfish rods.   $140 for two is a heck of a deal.

I ordered a bunch of these jigs as well, everything except the swim jigs as I have plenty of those already. At $2.98 each these were just too good of a deal to pass up .

You ever use anything other than the “flipping” jig? I saw a good bit of “heavy cover” jigs and the like in 3/4oz+, but the design was so different I wasn’t sure of the application. I might try a 1oz football jig offshore this year.

I ordered flipping, skipping and football jigs all in 1/2oz. as that's my preferred size. I didn't order the heavy cover or swim jigs.

Yes, they did.  Its MUCH bigger.  Same city, not far away.  I went to the new location to pick up some items last month.

 

It probably has something to do with the fact that spring is approaching in the northern tier, so there is higher demand on tackle now.  Just a theory.

 

Not like you need any more tackle anyways.  We've seen your shed now lol

They have had a lot of good sales going on as well.  I am sure a lot of people advantage and depleted inventory.

Yes. Did you sign up for their St. Croix rod giveaway that they were running the past few months? If so you would've gotten it in an email. And it seems it's tied to your account/email because I gave my code to someone and they said it didn't work.
