Just wanted to drop in and say hi to you all. I'm not as active 'round these parts anymore. Haven't bought anything in about 5 month. Haven't had the boat out in almost 5 months. Really sucks, but it'

Got a kick out of these huge markdowns.

Can someone please pm me the pure fishing code. I desperately need to upgrade some rods and reels and this is a perfect opportunity to land some serious savings and shop for family. Thanks.

The original code purefishing worked for gift cards. They must be aware of the sale because the current code does not work for gift cards.

I tested this last week with a $20 gift card for $10. Got an email the next day stating my order was “canceled at your request and your payment has been voided”.
So they refunded me yet they sent me the code for the $20 gift card.0C5F95AD-9864-4296-B942-C59D17A163CE.thumb.jpeg.d20bf1afe152a6092eaec6bf8b5215c5.jpeg I paid $1.90 for 5 frittsides. 96% off lmao.

… and I felt bad for buying all those hard baits at 62.5% off. I vow to buy one of everything that works well at retail.. Anything that doesn’t work well I’ll just give to some kids.

"Every great story contains adversity" I've been told.  I guess the sale saga of '22 is no different.  Woke up to emails saying all my stuff was on its way!

That's the one I got as well. Very versatile. What are you using it for mostly? I like having 2-3 different swim jig rods rigged up at the same time, so that's mainly what I used it for in the short amount of time I've had it.

Edit-Actually I have the 7'1 MH.

I've only used my black ops rod once...with a finesse jig.  It is definitely x-fast, which I like.  My 7ft MH Zenon showed up, and it is super sweet.  I'm surprised more people didn't jump on $215 Zenons.

I have plans for some NRX+ and Conquest rods.  I'm redoing my rods since I lost 3 out of the back of the truck this summer and those and what I have left were all from 20+ years ago.  I was getting 3 or 4 core rods, but when I came across this deal originally, I splurged and in my first 2 orders picked up Zenon baitcasting rods and reels to fill in the selection.  Picked up the medium light and the medium heavy along with the Zenon reels - the MG-LTX for the medium light and the MG-X for the medium heavy.  They weren't on my radar but for the price, I figured I couldn't lose.  I've since researched the rods and reels and haven't found a whole lot out there about them beyond the release blurbs.  I'm looking forward to using them.

I'm amazed by how clueless some of these companies are. How do you not know by now that shipping rods in a flimsy box is a terrible idea?

Cheaper to use the flimsy boxes instead and bet the odds it’ll make it unscathed. ? Places like TW that use tubes ought to have a program where if you ship the tube back (on them) you get a discount on your next order. Recycling with a discount.

That would be awesome. I have a wall of rod tubes I’m too cheap to throw away but I don’t know what to do with.

I’m sure the volume of orders they are receiving is unprecedented to the nth degree.

I don’t think the fishing industry has made it to the nth power . Yet .

Donate them to Pure fishing so everyone that gets the secret 50% off codes don’t receive broken half off rods. ?

I had a stash I had been saving as well. Just took 18 of them to the recycling center today.

When we have bonfires a rod tube inserted appropriately sounds like a jet engine. Which is a great deal (staying relevant to the thread)

Definitely to the nth power by relative capitalistic standards, recreational fishing is a MEGA industry. Its also been on the upswing for several years now with projections of continued economic growth, this is why we are seeing some of the prices, and innovation, that we're seeing.

And also why PURE can afford to offer 50% off and still make a profit, I used to work at Dick's and when we scanned things we could see the mark up percentage - would make you feel sick seeing how much we overpay for some things. I've seen 50% off still net a 500% gain for the sale.

That's why this page is such an asset to us regular folk, I'm so grateful I bumped into this "latest sale" thread and only wish I did sooner.

HUGE thanks to Bass Resource all of you who contribute here.

I'm sure we have massively depleted the pure fishing inventory, anyone have any clue if any 'out of stock' items would be coming back into stock anytime? I assume things like the stunna they are constantly producing and will add back in stock once they receive more? Anyone see something that was out of stock come back in?

I just put in my 5th order so… definitely not helping.

Has anyone received their orders from St. Croix? I ordered a rod when they put their retired rods on sale, but they still haven't shipped.

"I received all of my purefishing orders."

I haven't. I like the new Fenwick Elite inshore 7' HF spinning rod so much I just now ordered 2 more - a 7' medium and a 7' medium light.

I was really impressed with the HF - rated 3/4 oz to 3 oz. It just feels good. I put an old Sustain 4000FE on it spooled with 10# Spyderwire Invisibraid and tied on a 2-oz bank sinker. Using a lazy two-handed sidearm cast I put it in the woods. The tape measure said 42 yards. That'll do for a half-hearted cast. Less than half-hearted.

Okay, they aren't as nice as any of my Conquests, but they are still very good rods with full cork.

Big thanks to whomever started the Purefishing post and Belk50 code.

Never owned many Berkeley products, but with this deal I was able to get not only Berkeley stuff I wanted to try, but some more radical stuff that I'd have never bought like the Power Stingers, the Jigs, the Hardbaits, and for sure that black flashy Squarebull that I'm hoping is dynamite this summer at night.

Most stoked about the new scale.

Same here. But I also didn't order any rods.

I have received many orders, I'm currently waiting to get kicked out of the house by the wife. Luckily some of them were 'gifts' for family members, etc. In fact, I went to order a different size reel after receiving the first one and realizing it was too small. I tried this afternoon and it seems I can't get any of the codes to work. Is it true the onslaught is over? :) HAHA

****EDIT****

I stand corrected, they stopped me from using the same code twice on the same account. Problem solved.

"But honey, these Choppo's are a gift for cousin Eugene".

"You don't have a cousin Eugene!"

Hard baits are 25% off if you purchase 4 or more. This can be combined with the 50% off promo code....... I needed absolutely nothing that i just bought, but uhhhhh here we are
