they baffle me every time with their shipping nonsense....  don't be surprised to get 10 shipments from them from all over the country.  how they can offer free shipping when they are so inefficient is beyond me.....

I live about 2 miles from a Dicks so I just ordered online to pick up in the store.  Getting all those boxes in the mail drives me crazy.  It's so wasteful in a multitude of ways.

My personal experience with the Berkley rebates has been fantastic. I bought a bunch of the saltwater gulp baits last year and submitted the rebate. Check was received but got thrown out in the trash by mistake. I called the 1-800 number and spoke to a very nice lady who took my information and could see that the check was not cashed. She cancelled that check and issued another. 2 weeks later I received it.

I have 10 bags of worms and 6 of the shad baits. Actually excited about this deal, because I have almost all finesse style worms, so this will give me something different to toss, and tax was only 2.20. Will be curious to see how many shipping notices I get, first time ordering from DSG for me.

the soft plastics on my order all shipped together, but the remainder is still processing. Free shipping and UPS is great, and another reason to love living in Delaware: No sales tax 

Ordered 10 bags of various colored power worms and 6 bags of chigger craws about a week and a half ago. Received 4 different packages from DSG, the final one came yesterday. I was really impressed how they kept track of all the packages, although to me it seems somewhat wasteful. Also, one of the packages shipped directly from Pure Fishing, not from DSG.

DSG shipping is ridiculous.  When they had their sale on Trokar hooks I ordered probably 30 packs of hooks and they came in at least 15 different shipments.  It was a mix and match of boxes and padded envelopes, oftentimes it would be a single pack of hooks in a box that could fit two reels.

I hear you!  They had a Buy 4 Get 4 Free special on Lunkerhunt lures so I picked some up and  they came in 2 packages (1 box and 1 padded envelope).  The padded envelope looked like it got stuck under a tire it was no longer yellow but back!

Lol that's ridiculous. As long as they get here in a reasonable amount of time I don't really care but it is very wasteful and I can't imagine what they are paying in unnecessary shipping fees. 

^^^ And that's why they have mail in rebates. Hoping you will forget to mail it in.

Talking to my wife who works for a place that ships a fraction of the stuff a store would, she says they get a deal on shipping, so I would guess the big boxes get a sweet deal as well.

Thanks @ClackerBuzz @j bab et al.  Thought I was done with DSG for a while after stocking up on hooks this week for the buy 4 get two sale.  When your post sunk in I went to one of our DSG's and got my own stock of 16, including ripple shads to try for the first time.  

Couldn't just spend $40 at Dicks though, need to get over the $50 mark to use the get $10 off of $50+ coupon, so I made up the balance with 2 x $15 Whopper Plopper 130's and took the $10 off.  In other words, once you account for the rebate, that's $20 net for two WP 130's plus 16 bags of Powerbaits.  Not bad...

Wish I would've saw this before I purchased a Chronarch MGL.  The Revo Premier is at a really nice price.

Those are crazy prices. I told myself I was just going to stick with Shimano and Daiwa...Couldn't pass up a Revo Prem for $115! Would've gotten an STX if the higher speeds were also $80!  Thanks for making me spend more money

Abu must have all new models coming out soon. Their stuff is on sale/clearance all over the place.
