I noticed that periodically when you add things to the cart there’s a discount despite no active sales. It’s happened to me with a St. Croix and a Shimano rod. Not complaining I just don’t know why.

I got the email too. Bought 2 Tat SVs for $209.98 shipped.  I have reels without rods as it is but I couldn't pass it up.

the hookup just ran a similar blowout on the SV Tatulas. New model incoming possibly? Seems like Daiwa wouldn't allow an advertised sale like this unless they were end of life.

I’ve been buying those SVs used from Japan on eBay for about the same $$ for awhile.. that is a deal I would jump on if I needed more. Actually I could use another 7 speed.. here we go, the monkey is on my case.

I had some Tatsu that was gifted to me...It is better than the InvizX I usually use, but not enough to warrant the price difference.

 

I may stock up on 832 and InvizX though I'm set for this year.

Just a heads up Amazon typically sells Tatsu far below MSRP. Currently a 200 yard spool of 12lb is $33.21 on Prime vs Omnia sale price of $36.39.

Still expensive line but not the usual $50+ per spool.
