Just wanted to drop in and say hi to you all. I'm not as active 'round these parts anymore. Haven't bought anything in about 5 month. Haven't had the boat out in almost 5 months. Really sucks, but it'

The stealth ninja sunday sale seems to be on at ALF again. Almost ended up with a new daiwa reel and dobyns rod but managed to shake the tackle monkey off this time...

Sportsman’s warehouse website has a bunch of their house soft plastics for dirt cheap ($0.77 per). Never used them but they look like standard molds used by brands like Big Bite Baits. Tubes, spider grubs, worms, Keitech style swim baits, beaver style baits, etc.

Amazon has a 1000 yard spools of Seaguar InvizX starting at $21.86 for 8lb test, $21.80 for 10lb test, $22.24 for 12lb test for example.

Description is saying 1000 yards.......when I add it to my cart and go to check out.......its saying a 200 yard spool so watch out.

What is the house brand?

Thanks I didnt notice that on my phone, that stinks since that would be a great deal...ugh.

I think I may chance it, I can always send it back, here are the screen shots, title says one thing but if you look at the size quantity its correct...when you go to checkout it clearly change to the 200yd spool...to good to be true...bummer.

Tatula SV TWS Casting Reels $100,  almost too good to be true. 7:3:1 already sold out but 6:3:1 and 8:1:1 available

Yeah, that’s a no now too. All gear ratios sold out…

Copperstate Tackle has Tatula SV TW for $157.49 and Tatula 150s for $134.99. Not as good as the deal above but not bad either

Thanks for that @bishoptf, I did check it again before I posted it here. Maybe a call to Amazon and make them honor the advertised/posted price.

*my apologies for the inaccurate post

Yeah no worries, they have a glitch at that price for a 1000yd spool is a HUGE discount so I am sure its some matrix glitch etc...I will keep checking though if it ever adds properly to the cart I would love to have a spool at that price.

@bishoptf, I just checked my Amazon account. Like your post above the description says 200yd but (size: 12lbs/1000yds) is what my original description said. I bypassed this because I did want 200yds and not a 1000yds spool. I posted it figuring someone here would snap up a deal on a 1000yds spool. Typical SNAFU 🤷🏻

Maybe for the best?  Any site that misspells the name of the company as "Diawa" in both the URL and on the actual website is a little suspicious.

They're a legit brick & mortar family owned shop on Lake Lanier in Georgia. Been around forever. Not the first to misspell Daiwa, and they probably mispronounce it just like they spell it.

(Not an endorsement of security on their website, just saying it's a legit business)

I think I figured out the Amazon Seaguar Invizx fishing line on Amazon, they have the tool messed up, the 1000yd selection is actually for 200yds, the 600yd selection is for 1000yds and finally the the 200yd selection is for 600yds. (clear as mud right) :)

Now saying that here is the price for 12ga at the various lengths and it's still a pretty good deal the larger you go:

200yds - $22

600yds - $50

1000yds - $84

Just for comparison, Basspro has the 12ga/1000yds for $104, the other amounts are closer but still appears Amazon it about the cheapest place to purchase it.

Just thought I would pass that along, the thousand yard is the deal if I had some folks to split it with that would be the way to go, 200yds comes to about $17ea.

I can confirm that they have it all backwards.

I took the chance and ordered a 1000 yard spool but I received a 200 yard spool. Luckily I am able to return it and the drop off place is located within walking distance of my favorite pond. It was worth a shot.

At midwayusa. Not sure about it, but if you feel like gambling......
