If you get lost in the woods,

look for a raccoon and follow it.

You will be in the middle of a road in no time.

fun ride and significant because that’s 7 month old hazel riding with her daddy in the red canoe. Her first boat ride!!! (She already has 2 life jackets to choose from)

Had a couple passengers on the boat today, I think they really enjoyed their ride along.

  • After a couple of years of being used to make the new movie "TOP GUN-2" this F-18 E  has just arrived @ our facility in Jacksonville Fl. for rework, fresh paint and being returned to the active fleet.

It's Chief's week at Lake's school. Had to go get him some supplies and he was pretty pumped to get his picture with the Mahomes cutout. Kid is so spoiled. He's been alive for a 2 Royal's World Series appearances, 1 win, and now a Chief's Super Bowl appearance, took me almost 34 years to see ?

What's Penelope think of him?

She and Jules are holding their cards real close to the vest.

The cats are absolutely beside themselves, though. They've been around dogs before, but cats just hate change. Roger's relatively cool around the cats, but he's fascinated by them. Lots of learning for everybody to do.

Doing some stonework at a house this week, and this little rascal is my “helper” most of the day. She likes to just sit there and watch me lay stone for a while, then suddenly my rag or small trowel or a couple screws are not where I sat them last ?. And she’s got the “cone of shame” on due to just being spayed last week, but  it doesn’t seem to slow her down at all. Also, she seems to like my “very comfortable” tool bag as a bed while she inspects my work.

Cats are terrible helpers. She'll never make journeyman acting like that.

After being friendly she went and used your mortar mix as a litter. Don’t worry you’ll find it on the next job. ?

Not sure exactly what kind she is, but she got her cone off today, and did some serious inspecting of my scaffold!

This is typical of my part of Florida nowadays. Where old meets new. At least I got to see what old Florida was like in my younger life. And we still have remnants of it like this small farm surrounded by a new subdivision...?

I think this is pretty much typical in most of Florida now....we are literally busting at the seams

That farm I pictured is owned by a old man I know. When he dies, it’ll likely be sold and will become another cookie cutter neighborhood.
