Spinner bait trailer recommendation?

Featured Replies

Anyone got a trailer they like to use with spinner baits? I've got 1/2 oz spinner baits that I'm looking to beef up the profile of the bait but not use something so big it messes with the balance or movement of the bait.

Curly tail grubs

Reaction Innovations Little Dipper or Strike King Rage Swimmer. Zoom Split Tails work great too

Kalin's Grubs. Come in various sizes, plenty of colors and a good, thick body.                                                                                                              kalinsLunkerGrub.jpg.fe349dbcc9974f9d161d5c287000ea18.jpg

Zoom's Twin Tails.

Love the Keitechs, it just seemed they were so soft after some strong casts from me it was getting torn up and not staying on very well. Maybe it's just me.

Strike King KVD Perfect Plastic Blade Minnow ~

Adds bulk while still allowing the bait to run true & track straight.

I always use a trailer hook with them and I think that helps hold them up. I usually get 4-6 fish per bait with them as a trailer. I actually buy a KO Fat Impact in bulk now and they are more durable than the original but still have great action.

Mister twister twin tails. I keep a pack of pack of black, white, and chartreuse. Those 3 colors cover my needs.  I will use other trailers occasionally but those are my jam majority of the time.

If you don't like swapping out trailers all the time then I recommend something that's Elaztech.

A question...do you have a problem with spinner baits not running true and straight? The only time I've had that problem was when I added a blade that was exceptionally larger than the stock blade.

Awesome trailers for bladed jigs too.

Ugh... What's a spinnerbait?

Keitech swing impact fat, reaction innovations dippers, or gycb double tail grubs

The only 3 I usually use are a fluke, keitech, or a grub.
