So, who makes the BEST Tubes?

Featured Replies

I know, it's $1 million Q, but what's your faves anyway? Also, what are your thoughts on Bass Pro tubes? I still have them in my ol'tackle box, collecting dust. I bought them many many moons ago, but they were never my goto baits, and hopefully I can change that mindset this fall. I just bought some Get Bit Tubes too, and not even sure what to expect. To me, they ALL look the same so what do I know?

My favorites are made by V&M, Strike King, Big Bite Baits, and YUM.

My favorites are in no particular order prowler, strike king, Bass Pro tender tubes, swing oil, yum, ISG, and generic. Basically I just like tubes and each brand has their place.

If I could have just one brand, Trigger X, well crap the6 don’t make those any more. They were definitely better than other tubes, the rest I switch between all the time depending on the size or color I want.

There's lots of good ones out there. It might depend on what style you like. Double wall tubes are thicker and have a different fall action. I've done better on the thin single wall tubes.

ISG

My favorite is strike king coffee tube. My favorite smallie water only tube I get them

Depends on if the target is largemouth or smallmouth.  I use a smaller tube for brown bass and a bigger one for largies.  I prefer the berkley power tube for largies and the Z man tubez for smallmouth, both because their durability.

Gitzit, SK Bitsy Tubes, and Sk Coffee Tubes.

Bass Pro 4" Magnum Flipping Tubes are pretty much the only tubes I ever use.  They just simply work, and keep working and last a long time  Even if they get beat up, it seems they work better than new out of the package.  I've caught 20-30 fish on the same tube before.

I agree, I've used different brands but these seem to work best for me.

Zoom super salty tubes and Strike King Bitsy and Coffee Tubes are all I use.

River Rock out of Waynesboro, VA. Not the most durable but that may be the reason they work so well. Their laminate tubes sell out quickly.

Dry Creek.  They provide come color options that are really effective in my region.
