Name is Sean.  Took a few years off fishing to spend raising some kids.  They are now old enough to fish with me so I bought myself a kid friendly boat (Ranger 620t...hurt to not buy a bass boat, but taking 2-4 kids fishing in one isn't ideal).  Been trying to catch up on what is new and I've spent countless hours reading, searching and absorbing.  Figured it was time to join and engage further.

    Makes you the closest to me of all the other MN guys - I'm just mostly across the lake on Phelps Island, Mound.

    Traveling in Germany right now and need to use a VPN to log into the site.  Any reason it is blocked in Germany?

    I have no idea. Maybe because it is an American website? I doubt it though.

    We got members from England and Portugal who are regulars - can't just be because it's overseas.

    I think there are a few from Canada too and at least one from Mexico so I’m pretty sure being in a foreign country isn’t the reason.

    I used my work VPN to get on to ask that.  Germany was definitely blocked.  Worked on my cell phone without wifi on...but then it is an American IP address.  The instant I had a German one I get the error.
