Anybody tried these yet???

Featured Replies

Are they more of a collection piece or do people seriously fish those? I always thought of the super high end swimbaits as sort of like sneaker collecting. Folks collect them but don’t wear them.

I believe @ATA owns some Roman Made swimbaits (?) but I’m not sure about that specific model.

Sorry you lost me at the price tag, even 100$ baits are up there for me.

It's all I can do to turn loose of $25. to $30. for Megabass. $1000+ is way out of my league, but they nice looking.

Next time I hang a 110, I’ll just remind myself it could be worse.

Way over priced imho.

22 ounces?!  I've never seen a bass rod capable of that.

22 ounces?  That is light compared to the one glide bait they have on TW!  22" long and 43 oz!!  Oh and all for the low, low price of $1200.00.  I just don't get it!  To each their own!

WOW!!! Is everyone sure that’s not a typo?

I mean really? $1100.00 Us dollars, not pesos or some kind of other currency?

I'll see your $1,000 swimbait and raise you an $1,148 swimbait! Made out of horse hide! I don't know how many times I was sitting in my boat thinking "if only I had a bait made out of horse".

Yeah, I don't care if I were a millionaire. I'd never pay that. Then again, for a millionaire that'd probably be the same as me buying a squarebill off of AliExpress. ?

Yeah, I suppose it'd be a nice conversation piece hanging over someone's fireplace. Like I said, maybe if I were rich.

Probably made of unicorn horn ( or is it antler?, not sure if unicorns lose their headgear every year like a whitetail).

Perhaps, I was thinking more along the lines of a narwhal horns

So is it the builder that makes these expensive? Like a piece off art. I'm pretty sure a first year woodworking student could kick 10 of these a day out so I don't understand it

I'm also a guitarist and don't understand why people pay $10,000 for a custom shop guitar. So I may just be cheap

Never. Going. To. Happen.   At least for me. If I used and lost one of those I would have to kill myself.

Yup, weighted with unicorn horns, and painted with fairy dust.
