Got anything with copper blades? Don't see them often and they flat wear the fish out here when the conditions are right. I like the War Eagle copper with a white skirt.

Would need to know when, where, and how to make any answer remotely valid, but in general, I'd get any 3/8 or 1/2 oz willow/colorado, change the skirt to match forage, down size the blades one size, make one gold and the other one silver, and add a do nothing smallish trailer. I hardly fish any spinnerbait stock, so most of the time I'm fishing something different or unique..

Is it me or did they change their skirt material?
They seem to be more stuff and cheaper quality than before. I’ve switched to Terminator and haven’t looked back

Small compact spinnerbaits are my ticket when the bite toughens.  Post bass spawn when bluegill are spawning,  they are dynamite.  Micro spinners like the Booyah pond magic can unskunk you on a tough day.

the Tornado that Bass Pro sold years ago.

Don't know, haven't bought one in a couple years. I have so many hanging on the pegboard in my garage that I haven't needed to but I know they were bought out so it's possible but I tie my own skirts so that's not a big issue if they did.

Man, I miss those.

Razor Baits is selling a spinnerbait called the 'Samurai Spin' with the Ninja Blade setup or as they call them 'Tom A Hawk' style blades. As different and unique as they get!

Just go on LureParts or Barlows and order some different blade types…there are tons of blades and cups to keep you busy.  I use the pre-poured heads and build from there and it’s cheaper than buying pre-built.  I made a few recently using chopper, royal, thumper, and whiptail blades.  If you like to tinker, it can be a lot of fun.

This was given to me, I don't know who makes it. I don't know how old, at least 20 years or so, I'm guessing. I've never tried to make one, but it probably wouldn't be too hard.

French blades below the main willow...interesting. With added blades come more drag and less thump, but french blades being so flat, that may just add thump. What your opinion fin?

That is seriously too cool. I should make some triple or quad blades sometime.

The Strike King Rocket Shads are great for current and deep water . I hate the hook set up though ,  so made some heavy compact baits for those times .

I've tried every blade combination I can muster, and I haven't seen a french blade make an improvement in action or catching over other blades in either position on a spinnerbait, can't honestly say why. On inlines they are killer in pretty much any size, I make a mini double blade in line that catches everything. I really like figuring out the why in baits, and this one has me stumped.

Since I started throwing Zman spinnerbaits, I've become tunnel vision, all I throw.

The BullZeye is a great addition.
